Absolutely love it!! Such an awesome restaurant! Great for our little community. The meals are fantastic and huge for what you pay! Great owners who are on the floor and always getting to know their customers

Very nice local pub in Totara Park, Upper Hutt. Tidy and clean with plenty of space for meals. Lots of TV screens for watching sports. They even have a separate pool room. The prices were very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A big step up from typical Hutt Valley pub. Definitely worth a look if you are in the neighbourhood.

A lovely evening 😊 Amy was a delightful hostess & the 2 for 1 parmigiana deal was real value for money. It was also absolutley delicious! Cannot fault the service or food. Definitely going back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was such a great experience!. The food was delicious, the service was super friendly and it was kid friendly too. This was our first visit but I can see this will become a regular thing for us. Highly recomended for a 'cheap n cheerful' dinner/drinks.

Excellent quality meals and very big for the price. It was nice to have someone serve you who looked you in the eye and was genuinely interested in their job. Highly recommended!

We moved to Totara Park a year ago and when the move was completed we went for fish and chips as an easy dinner to finish the day. Having stopped in the car park and spotting Little Totara we went for a beer first. Never ended up having fish and chips. Still haven't. If we're hungry, and believe me, if you're visiting for a meal, go VERY hungry, then we always hit Little Totara for a great meal, cold drinks, yummy cocktails, and great friendly atmosphere. Just what you want from a suburban tavern - family friendly, good food at good prices, cold drinks, and somewhere to catch up with the locals. Thanks Team Totara and see you again real soon. Stu and Heather.

Been here multiple times. And every time has been great! <br/><br/>I did one of the summer barbecue nights and it was great food and good variety for the price.<br/><br/>The most recent time, Aimee was lovely, the food came out fast, the food was cooked great, and sticky date pudding and cheesecake was very delicious!

Very dissatisfied!! We went here for an easy meal but I was very disappointed when our meals seemed like they were out of frozen packets :/ I have had better at other places for the same price.

Nice place . Really loved the large tables. Most places cramp you around small tables not so much fun.. husband loved the place his kinda place, bright not so noisey and his food was perfect, his steak was cooked to his perfection . I had a chicken salad it was.. ok but needed a little something extra taste wise. Was a bit bland for me.massi e and very yummy cheesecake for dessert.. Service was great and friendly and was reasonably priced ... child friendly place.. I would defo try it again. .

I went to Little Totara with my toddler and I was really impressed with how much they helped me to find suitable options for her. The service was fab and they really made us feel welcome. There are always loads of cars in the carpark and it seems to be pretty busy later in the evening as a pub.

Mixed review on this one. <br/><br/>The owner was lovely so I would have liked to be able to give a better review. Good, friendly, attentive service.<br/><br/>Some of the food we were served though could be improved with a few simple tweeks which could be a real draw card.<br/><br/>The chips were awesome and so was the coleslaw. However the fish was obviously bought pre frozen (very similar to the battered fish you buy frozen in the supermarket and upon ordering what I thought was a slice of hot chocolate fudge cake with real cream, I got what I one of those tiny Aunt Bettys microwave steamed puddings accompanied by whipped cream from a can and that was really disappointing. <br/><br/>Some simple and effective changes for example would be to swap the frozen and pre battered fish for freshly bought and battered and the rich chocolate cake dessert being homemade with a genuine chocolate sauce and real whipped cream.<br/><br/>Good specials and good main portion sizes.

Brilliant place to dine - a group of 6 went out to celebrate on a Monday evening (and we were thrilled with the 2 for 1 main meals) - my salmon was absolutely sensational - as good as anywhere else. A great local restaurant, well worth supporting. All the dinner guests have nothing but positive things to say - well worth the trip over the Totara Park Bridge to find this little gem of a place.

Love this place, we have our family birthdays and recently held my mums surprise birthday there.. Atmosphere is always welcoming, owners are so helpful, and will have a laugh with you... recommend rugby season Amy always gets involved hehe... great area for the kiddies if you have them, or if you don't nice place to go for a dinner and couple of wines, food each time has been perfect for everyone, great selection at a very reasonable price - I definitely recommend for a dinner or function..

We ordered the scotch fillet steak and spare ribs mains with a side salad and thoroughly enjoyed our meals, both cooked perfectly. We only had the mains as we were both full after. The hospitality was exceptional, lovely venue. Would visit again and recommend to others.

We had my husbands 40th birthday at the Little Totara last July and found the service, food and atmosphere absolutely fantastic. We had the party during the day so that our young children could come and were really happy about how well the kids were treated. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for somewhere in Upper Hutt!!!

I attended a function there for the first time last night and it was brilliant. The owners (who are also your bar and waiting staff) were very friendly and welcoming (and hard workers!!) The bar itself isn't huge but it is well laid out and helps create a warm and intimate environment for a reasonably sized group (ours was a group of around 50) The food we had was just finger food (pizza, chicken tenders, samosas etc) but it was all well cooked, delivered hot and tasted great. Overall, the owners run a great little bar and offer excellent service. I thoroughly recommend them for your own birthday party or social gathering.
