Another stop on our small winery tour. Terrific wines, especially the Montepulciano. Also have a craft beer and cider tasting but unfortunately they had run out of beer and cider due to the very busy long weekend. Will have to go back and try this plus the food as the menu looked interesting.
An essential visit. Our favourite place in the nelson wine region. Cameron and Maria are wonderful hosts, and the wine selection was the best we experienced. The 2017 chardonnay and the 2015 pinot noir were outstanding. Combined with thoughtfully sourced and beautifully presented food it was a real treat to sit on their terrace for most of the afternoon chatting wine and everything else! Many Thanks!

Having been a frequent visitor of the great grogg bottle shop in Edinburgh Scotland for over 3 years now, I have become intimately acquainted with 'The Cut', Nelson Sauv Blanc 2018 for some time.
Quite simply put, this bottle is"the gift that keeps on giving". Bravo to all involved in this wonderful creation. I tip my hat to you. Refreshing beauty in a bottle. Bloody lovely. All the best. Cheers
Popped into a small bar in Nelson after a movie. The Montepulciano wine was available.. so we bought .. and I reflected on my time in Italy.
The Kahurangi Estate Montepulciano is as good.

Great pizza for lunch beautiful Sauvignon Blanc (HEAPHY SERIES) lovely staff tastings from just NZ$2 (2015) 4wines free if you buy! Absolutely suggest a visit. And chocolate brownie for pudding mmmm!
What a delightful day! With three friends we navigated our way from Mapua up into the Moutere hills for a midday meal. Beautiful surroundings, excellent friendly service, and woodfired pizza to die for. I'll definitely be returning with (more) friends.

Nice wines and friendly staff. Unfortunately they buy in some of their grapes but nonetheless produce good quality Nelson wines.
Great wine tasting with knowledgeable owner who was respectful of our moderate knowledge. Informative and the wine was fantastic. Gertz and montepulciano was outatanding!
