Review Moutere Inn - Upper Moutere

Everyone who works there goes above and beyond. They have been lovely since I moved to Upper Moutere. This year they catered my wedding on a public holiday without hesitation, and delivered food when I was too sick to drive. 100% would recommend for the food and staff!

Yes, definitely go here. And what a fantastic place to celebrate a special occasion too. We had the most wonderful evening at Moutere Inn last Friday to celebrate a family member's 80th Birthday. The Moutere Inn Team produced the most amazing meals, the hospitality and service went "above and beyond" and the choice of wines, bears and non-alcohol drinks meant everyone was catered for. A total of 38 very happy folks, of all ages, had the most enjoyable time. A huge thank you Moutere Inn Team for all you did.

After a hot day exploring we headed to the inn. We arent really locals though we used to live in Motueka. We enjoyed a great beer outside in the warm winter sun with many others. Families, bikies and locals. Best beer battered chips I've ever had. A very memorable and enjoyable stop. Great selectionof beers on tap.

Wonderful historic inn and pub in wine country. Delicious beers on cask and tap, and yummy food. Great views and patio. Seems popular with locals as well as tourists. Represented as the oldest pub in New Zealand and worth swinging by!

Great view and location. Food was average to good. Pigs head was disappointing. Great selection of craft beers.

This place is awesome, with a great and historic vibe, good food and great selection of local drinks, live music as well! Highly recommended!

Our local ,go to place to Dine, Wine meet friends and enjoy Folk Night ... it’s just wonderful .. awesome staff and service... food is delicious.. Beef Cheeks last night Yummm Gnocchi is exceptional. Wine and Beer offer outstanding.. local and varied ... keep doing it Team xxx

Every Wednesday night we walk down to our local pub for a steak meal. Great to have a lovely warm welcoming pub on our doorstep. Nice friendly atmosphere, great staff, yummy food and delicious craft beers. Big thumbs up from Andrew and I

Absolute gem in the Moutere. Old country charm with a surprisingly adventurous menu executed superbly!

Simple food done extremely well, great atmosphere, great selection of local wine and beer. All country pubs should aspire to be just like the Moutere Inn.

Great fish and chips with a wonderful view. Taylor was great. Recommended I try the feijous cider which was different but pretty darn good.

What a fantastic spot!! Great food, fantastic service and an amazing range of beverages. We will definitely be going back to try more of the culinary delights.

Moutere Inn is an historic hotel - Great place for a meal...Wednesday nite is 2 steak meals with a bottle of wine $50.which we had and it was great..

Sensational meal and great staff. A rainy day in Moutere but a lovely way to kill a couple of hours.
