Nothing Beats Fresh Gelato!
This is such a cute little store and definitely not something I expected to find out there. The Gelato is delicious and they have a surprisingly big selection. The scoop sizes are also very generous! This is definitely a must stop spot and in fact.. I think I might plan a trip back just to go here again!! Definitely give it a try 🤤🍨
Yummy Gelato! I chose mint choc chips & pineapple lump is a cup with chocolate sprinkle. The shop was really clean and staff were lovely. There were plenty of in door and out door seating & street parking.
I’ll be back here to try more flavors :)

They make the most amazing flavours right here in this shop, we tried the white choc & plum, blood orange & choc, Oreo.. all so yum. Generous scoops, good value and was the perfect dessert after worlds best steak & cheese pie next door. Thanks, can't wait to come try the rest!
For me personally, this is the best ice cream I've ever tasted. The fruit ice cream comes from his own fruit in his orchard. Very refreshing. You must stop and try.

Always coming up with new flavours, letting you mix your own the staff are super mega friendly!
If you have time stay in and have a sundae, the girls always make them look exquisite and there's plenty for a great price! Can even make your own with 2 scoops (the freshly squeezed orange sorbet is AMAZING!)

The lemon sorbet was just AMAZING! Neville let us try all flavours before choosing, and think that's great.

Finally something really good worth stopping in Waharoa for besides the "toilets"😅. This place gets all the ticks for me. Clean, modern, simple, stylish, "toilets"😉, & then the gelato flavours are something else!😋🤩. Totally recommend this place to all. You have to visit at least once if you're in the area or passing through. Well done Waharoa👌💯👏
Just Loved the Black HAWAII so delicious, coconut 🥥 Lemon 🍋 was lovely with a REAL Tang to it, goood clean sharpness to the taste. Definitely worth a trip out from Matamata after you Hobbiton tour 🧁🍦👅
This place appears like a sweet oasis of Gelato in the middle of the road. They have a wide range of flavours and the staff is really friendly. The place is as clean as it could be

The Scoop Gelato is a lovely little ice cream shop! Fantastic range of gelato, great atmosphere and reasonably priced for gelato.
Very family friendly staff. They aloud my youngsters to taste test was an amazing experience and the ice cream was great to!
