Amazing tasting food. Fries were small crispy potatoes and absolutely incredibly delicious. On the expensive side but worth every penny.
The owner was there by himself but was very good at multitasking and preparing meals and bringing them out and still having time to chat to our kids.
Delicious food, comfort our souls and stomachs after a long detour from road blockage due to road closure in current raining weather. Hosts are a pair of lovely couples who had a nice chat with us. Do drop by, highly recommended for the food and hospitality.

The food was really really good especially if you’re tired of eating the usual burger/fries/steak and potatoes.
We had the mixed platter which had the chicken, lamb and beef grilled kebabs. They were amazing! Quite authentic and very close to actual Turkish/Lebanese food.
We had the blueberry tart white vanilla and blueberry ice cream which was surprisingly very tasty. The tart was soft and moist and just melted away.
We had some Pinot Gris and dessert wine (Riesling) which went really well with our food.
Soul satisfying food!! A must visit if you’re heading to Waihi.
The best food we have had here in NZ. Lovely owners from Turkey and Germany. I had my first ever Turkish Coffee and I want another. This place is a must to eat at if you are in the area.
Beautiful experience, Lovely staff and owners. Beautiful place to unwind and enjoy some delicious food. We dined in the outdoor area and was able to bring our dog with us too which was very convenient, There is also a bowl of water for the dogs they leave outside which is quite nice and thoughtful. (Dog needs to be on a leash)
I had one of the specials of the day Thai fish cakes and salad.. The flavours were beautiful the service was with a smile and then some more. I eat out a lot and the place is immaculate and food is great and its in a peaceful setting. I so want to return to try some more dishes. Sadly I am from Auckland.. Even got some home made salad dressing that's so yummy you can buy here.. Thanks for sharing a little bit of your kind hearts with us.. Its hard to find these days. 5 stars to the chef and his wife
Nice restaurant in the quiet town of Waihi. Owners were very friendly and recommended the lamb. Some of the best I have ever tried. Would recommend if you're looking for some fine dining on your travels in the North island of NZ
Very friendly owners and the food taste really good. The salad was fresh and tasty. The beef cheeks tasted really tender and soft. The potatoes with garlic butter was really delicious. The music was of a good volume too and good selection. Even the scenery during my meal was great (you can see below). I'll look forward to coming back one of these days for sure.

This is our favorite Cafe & Restaurant in Waihi. The coffee is so delicious, the homebaking exceptional and the lunch menu fabulous. The location is off the main road, so take the time to visit and you will be delighted with such personalized service and a eating experience that will have you returning over and over.
Sooooo first of all the service was so homely and gentle but very moreish like you feel like you’re at home with your Nanna and she just wants ultimate comfort for her guests!! Thank you thank you Mufide you beautiful soul!!! Also the friggin decor and environment wassssss gorgeous and subtle wonders of Mediterranean and definitely them was just beyond!! As for food so Chef Roland you have my foodie soul the scallops, tarakihi, garlic bread and yummy sourdough with the assorted dips were all gorgeous!!!! Thanks for the start to an ongoing relationship My friend and I will definitely be back!!! Also not to mention our yummy coffee and end of our meal Baklava was 🧡💙💛
