We had the best breakfast here on Sunday, delicious healthy and gluten free. The meal presentation was attractive and the service amazing. We'll definitely be back next time we are in Waihi. I bought two loaves of bread to bring back to Auckland too... so yummy! ♡♡

Lovely cafe with ample seating and friendly service. Enjoyed our breakfast and would recommend with the exception of the meat pie; the crust tasted as if it had been microwaved, not heated in the oven, so a bit rubbery. Would come again to try other items off the cooked-to-order menu but will stay away from cabinet foods.

This wonderful bakery has pretty amazing food, including the best sausages we've ever had and really good breads and bakery treats. The ciabatta bread was particularly fabulous! Definitely a must-do in Waihi!

Great cafe stop at Waihi. Food was good and nice atmosphere and it cost their sourdough breads. The ham cheese and pineapple sourdough sandwich was great!

We got 1 vegetarian sandwich and 1 pretzel loaf (was a vege cheese sandwich) which were super tasty. Apple strudel and coffee for dessert, also very delicious. Friendly helpful staff too and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Breads, stolen, doughnuts - all pretty good choices. Bread is as you would find it in Europe (excluding Great Britain of course!). Coffee could be better - it's OK but not WOW. 4.5 really

Really good European bread. Usually NZ bakeries don’t make very sense bread and it’s hard to cut / spread anything on it unless it’s toasted. Would definitely recommend getting pretzels and a loaf!

Stopped here for lunch when riding the rail trail. Awesome food, had the wurst, sauerkraut and mustard with fresh sour dough. All made on site! Very friendly staff, highly recommended!

It is worth travelling to Waihi just to visit the German bakery. Food is wonderful whether sweet or savoury and such a range of organic sourdough bread! Absolutely recommended.

I buy from this bakery every time I am in Waihi. It's breads are very wholesome. Their cakes and other baked goods are all very tasty. They also make good coffee and food.
