!! A must stop when in the area !!! Doesn't look like much but damn amazing stuff. Full of butter, flaky a really moist. Tried the palmier and almond pain au chocolate and wow! My man said it was the best he ever had ( and we tried few before). Locals know about this place, so come in early so you dont miss out 🙂

The fruit tart was stunning - both beautiful to look at and had the perfect balance of flavours and textures. The food is not your typical bakery food- it's got a very authentic small-batch artisan look and the good flavours to go with it. The sour dough I had was very moist with a lovely nutty crust.

We just dropped by to grab some pastries. We bought various pastries, pies, and desserts. We were all blown away! Kids loved all of them and ate them all =) We tried some nice cafe with good reputations, but we will be happy to drop by this place again and try other stuff. Highly recommend and don't miss it !

Second time stopping here and it was delicious again. The citrus tart was great, looks better than anywhere else and just $5.50. Croissants are by far the best and you can really taste they are freshly made (not comparable to grocery store ones). Long story short, everything looks amazing and from what I had tastes amazing too! Highly recommend it.

Best French brioche made here. Just the way you have it in Paris. I love the taste of freshly made brioche. Merci beaucoup Monsieur Thierry.

The Tarte Tatin is amazing. Not too sweet and the texture is the best of it.

This place is amazing, definitely the best bakery in the area by far, delicious cakes and pastries with perfect light fluffy pastry. I’ll be back again and again 👍

Delicious food. Highly recommended. Best I've tasted in and out of France.

We kind of stumbled across this place and weren't disappointed. As a former viennoiserie chef and having spent time in France as a food tourist, I can guarantee that this is the real deal. The pastry and the bread is amazing and the prices are reasonable. I also grew up in Waihi in the 80's, so to find a place like this on Rosemont Road blew my mind. It's worth stopping anytime you're traveling through.

We we're driving through Waihi when we saw an "Artisanal Bakery," sign and stopped to check it out as we're in search of the best baguette in Nz. As soon as we stepped inside we could smell the magic. We arrived late in the day, lots of things had sold out which is always a good sign. We went with the Milk Baguette as baguette is my girlfriend's favourite bread. She's had 1000s all over the world and said this is the best baguette she has ever tasted. We'll be backtracking to Waihi at opening time for this little gem before continuing on our Nz tour.
