Olde Beach Bakery - Waikanae - Photo album

Stopped in this morning on trip to Harrisons Garden World. Awesome pies - tried the Cheese & Mince - baked to perfection and coffee. Have to say the Flat White was perfect and to our taste. Nice area outside to sit. Easy to find! We will be back:-)
Chill place, great food. Always come here at the start of road trips up north thanks to SH1 being near. Looking forward to coming back!
Have been to Olde Bakery twice now, once to pick up some things to share with my boyfriend and his family, and another time very recently for coffee and something sweet with friends. The second time we sat outside and enjoyed the Sunday morning sun in the courtyard - it was so lovely. You canโ€™t go w
I love this place. Waikanae's best kept secret. The food is amazing (my favourite is the French Toast, it's truly next level), the coffee is wonderful but best of all, Chrissy and her colleagues deliver customer service at a level that just gives you warm fuzzies. ๐Ÿ˜Š I drive 45 minutes to come here,
Just a really great, casual, relaxed, local spot for a coffee and maybe something sweet or savory. Enjoy!
Just popped in 15 minutes or so ago. I just moved here recently on the street over and omg delicious steak & cheese pie and donut! I've taken on the price point difference in Waikanae compared to Lower Hutt where I've moved from, but rest assured you're paying good money for quality ingredients! The
The most fantastic bakery!! Delicious pies, pastries, breads and sandwiches. Love the almond croissant and brown sugar fennel seed scrolls. Steak and cheese pie is always a winner. Well worth the stop!
Great food. Beautiful staff. Very cool place
Wonderful food, good coffee and very popular - small garden sitting out area, but no toilet facilities apparent.
Some vegan options available. There could have been a little more choice though! As there was only 1 or 2 options. (Everything else looked very yummy rhough)! Serves the brand Rich coffee which was very nice.
There's a reason there always seems to be a line and they sell out quickly. Their pies are heaven and you'll dream about the donuts! I love that I can sit outside with my dogs. I've never had a disappointing experience.
Probably the best looking food I've seen in a bakery in years. Got myself a steak and cheese pie, it was probably one of the nicest pies I've ever had, delicious steak, top notch cheese and amazing pastry. Definitely a great place to stop on the way thru.
Good shop, really nice pie and food options, but really stings the pocket, I know everything is getting more expensive, but I just think a little shop in Waikanae could be a tad more reasonably priced, but it seemed busy enough, so I could be wrong
Open on a Sunday morning with fresh coffee, oat milk even, fresh bread and pastries, even a few vegan options. Friendly fast service. Thanks guys, stay goldenโค๐Ÿ˜Š
March2021: Back again.. Omgoshh, brought an out-of-towner here for a treat.. ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜ This time, coffee, beer&brisket pie, and lemon merange tart and a seat at the beach.. D. E. V. I. N. E Feb2021: Nothing to look at on the outside.. But once you are in OMGosh. What a delight. Compact space, clean, inviti
Great wee bakery. Very busy and I could see why, my brisket and beer pie was delicious. Highly recommended.
Fantastic bakery of traditional breads, pastries and pies. Make fab sandwiches, and they serve RICH COFFEE ROASTERS coffee, and it's amazing, best in Wellington if not the world
Such fabulous food. The pastries are so flakey and delicious. The cheese scones are amazing. It's well worth any wait. The service is quick but over the summer they are extra busy.
