Review Heaven's Woodfire Pizza - Waikanae

Overall a great pizzeria. All the staff were friendly, positive and exuding an amazingly calm demeanor despite being quite busy, to the point that it penetrated the very atmosphere of the pizzeria, further fueled by the authentic Woodfire brick oven. So much so that we couldn't help but change our plans to takeout to eating in just to prolong the experience! We weren't disappointed in anyway, as the pizzas were fantastic! Definitely recommend!

Last night we very much enjoyed their Winter Special pizza ($25 for a large size)...we can honestly say that it was the best pizza we have ever had in our long lifetime. The toppings were very well matched and made for a succulent and very tasty dinner. The young lady that designed it deserves a good bonus! Well done.

A great pizzeria. Went yesterday evening and ordered the anchovy pizza (large and it was large and delicious). Was looking for a side dish and staff recommended the flatbread which came with olive tapenade, sundried tomato and pesto dips. Easily enough for 2-4 people and great to nibble on alongside the pizza. I was so hungry I finished the pizza and flatbread and gosh they were yummy. I ordered in-store and only had a 15 min wait but the staff were flat out with orders which shows how popular it is. Highly recommend! 😊

Hands down best pizza from a Wood fired oven I've had in NZ. We arrived close to closing as we'd traveled. Staff were so accommodating they took our order and we were so impressed with the flavor and base. I had aubergine olive semi dried tomatoes and it was perfect topped with fresh basil.

One of the best pizza places in Wellington region. Right dough for the base, great variety of tasteful toppings, woodfire oven, friendly service. Everything is good here! My favs are summer special, smoked chicken with cranberry sauce and salmon pizza. Kids will love Hawaiian pizza. Oh, btw, have you tried their desserts? They are good too! (Def recommend to try Pavlova roll!)

Delicious, the white pizza of salmon, capers, dill and cream cheese à la Wolfgang Puck was especially delicious, and arrived BEFORE the appointed time!! Contactless delivery person was excellent and engaged with us to ensure the order was received. Would purchase again etc etc

Heaven's pizza is the gold standard! We can't go anywhere else now! This will be the first meal we order now that Level 3 allows it. Very excited. Their desserts are incredible too. Please let's keep this restaurant in business; they're great.

Had the Mediterranean and it was absolutely revolting. Nothing Heavenly about this pizza at all. It was basically like chewing cardboard. I counted one slice of tomato distributed between the slices, a slither of onion here and there and a bit of herb sprinkled around. Definitely not worth the money and won't ever go back again. Just wish they had Hells further up the coast. Nothing beats Hells.

We really loved the Margarita pizza we ordered. Unfortunately we felt it was expensive pizza and it’s a shame it’s not really a place to sit down and enjoy the pizza like in Wellington CBD.

Best pizza is the Salmon Pizza but add Prawns.  Some of the others are a bit bland but this one is the bomb.  For delivery, and we don't have anyone else who delivers this far, if they are just a bit late they will ring you and apologise.  What more could you ask for.

I love a good woodfired pizza but you won't find one here. Bland, short on toppings, and overpriced. On the bright side the staff are super friendly.

I can't fault these guys. The service is always friendly and accommodating, the garlic breads are amazing, but the best of all are the pizzas. So much variety, there is something there for everyone. We've waited till we have had five separate orders including deliveries to leave this review and we have yet to be disappointed. Well done guys!

I have found when I have ordered a pizza here, the staff are friendly and I am happy to wait 15 min for a pizza that is handmade by scratch (including the base). I find it easier to ring ahead, and then there is minimal waiting in store. The Pizza I have had was absolutely tasty, and the ingredients are of a high quality. I will absolutely come back.

We often get pizzas from here and they have been lovely in the past. Tonight was a different story...firstly it took 20 minutes longer than we were originally told. We got our pizzas home and they didn't look appealing at all. The meat was so shriveled and tasteless, and the cheese was so rare and burnt that it tasted incredibly dry. I'm sad to say I fed the majority of it to the dogs. I'm sad to give it such a bad review, but I am less than impressed. I will instead be traveling an extra 10 minutes to get my pizzas from Paraparaumu from now on.
