Noticed this unique fusion Malaysian place every time I visit the Op Shop next door. Went in for a quick lunch and a coffee with two kids in tow. End up getting Russian dumplings, curry puff, sausage roll and oat flat white. The curry puff was spot on, the kids love it. Russian dumplings was a first for me, delightful. Will come back again for more Malaysian offerings.
I purchased sambal oelek and i was pleasantly amazed how it taste! Took me back to Indonesia! I use it to cook Nasi goreng udang and my God the balance of the sambal is perfect!!! I am hooked on this now. Thank you for bringing Indonesia to Wellington
I stumbled on to this place to getting coffee and found there was so many delicious items and products to try! I couldn't go pass the chilli oil, made by the beautiful owner of the cafe herself. It's one of the BEST chilli oils I've tried by far!
I added it to some noodles and veges (bok choy and broccoli) and it was delicious!
A respectable selection of foreign grocery items and the usual Cafe foods on offer. The food items were well displayed and prices visible. I would say that I found the majority of the items to be priced quite high, it would be difficult to include these grocery items in your everyday shopping list but as a treat it could work. To be expected with imported perishable goods. Staff were friendly and I got the impression that they are German so I bet they know their stuff. Atmosphere was comfortable, a bit like being in someone's house.
Cosy little local with a unique fusion menu. We enjoyed the selection on the menu and cabinet - lots on offer! Great place to get specialty German and South East Asian goods too.
Excellent variety of authentic Asian fares and great pricing. Stop by here if you want a good lunch.

I had such an amazing time at Fusion Food House Cafe and Grocery! It's the coolest spot that combines the best of Asian and German food. The grocery section offers a diverse range of delicious products, including imported spices, unique sauces, and hard-to-find ingredients that will undoubtedly elevate any home-cooked meal. The attentive staff members were happy to help with menu suggestions and recommendations from the grocery section, making the entire experience enjoyable and memorable.
Delicious well priced food and drink, friendly staff, and huge selection of interesting items to buy. Best cafe around, couldn't recommend it more!!
We like that the Fusion Food Haus has lots of snacks from Singapore that we cant get easily in Wellington...! Its a speciality store and definitely a fun treat to shop there :-)

With an exclusive and ecclectic mix of amazing products from Germany and South East Asia you got the best of both worlds. As I am writing this review we are heading into the Christmas Season - so go on and get all your Lebkuchen, Domino-Steine, Marzipan and special chocolates to make it a Christmas just like you used to remember it from way back when! I'm glad we finally got a specialty store which stocks all the delicious and special foods I like. My wife and I often stock up at Fusion Food House, and Irma is a delight to have a chat with, she always makes us feel welcome and extra-special. Head on down there and get your dose of Old World Charm with a good dose of Asian spices!
