This place is perfect to make a stop on your way. You can have a coffee and a sandwich for $10 and even a shower for $6 extra. The toilets are clean and the local is well decorated with a huge collections of pens.

Nice stopover on the highway. Had the scotch steak; got a generous serving of meat (slightly overdone) with a mushroom sauce, fries and fresh veggies. Also had a Hawaiian pizza (lots of ham and pineapples) and a seafood chowder (creamy with generous amounts of prawns and mussels). Not a good selection of coffee but what they had was nice.

Butter chicken was amazing 10/10!! Serious flavour, well presented - best butter chicken I've ever had.
Also got some onion rings, which were a bit average - but who cares when it's served beside that beautiful creamy deliciousness!!
I will definitely be back and bring my gf so she can also lose her mind about it!!

Great place! Stopped there with my friends on our way to Wellington. Ordered coffee, pizzas and burgers. Delicious food! Awesome atmosphere, what a huge collection of pens.. We will definitely come back here.

Great little cafe in the Heart of Waiouru with over 95 thousand pens on it's walls and over 250 thousand in the collection. It is a Fascinating place to take photo's of. Friendly and helpful staff FYI = One of them gave me 2 free cans of drink when I gave them a special pen from The Weta Cave while she was loading the drink fridge. Pizza was good though if you are in a hurry just realize it does take 15-20 mins to cook.

Great food and service, we had a meatlovers pizza and it was full of ingredients, without empty spaces like other places, very tasty! Good coffee too. Warm place and clean bathrooms. The price a bit expensive but good food.
