Our absolute favourite winery during our NZ trip, for how beautiful it is. We also learnt a lot from the cellar tasting on how they upkeep this garden and the vineyards across the season. Insightful and relaxing time here. Very memorable picnic in their picturesque garden

Drove all the way down from Christchurch to visit Pegasus Bay for its Riesling wines and wasn't disappointed. They offer a tasting of several wines for about 10 NZD which could also be counted into the purchase of a bottle of wine.

The estate is absolutely stunning, there is plenty of parking and the cellar door is part of a mansion that overlooks the hills, gardens and ponds below.
The restaurant here is no longer open which is a shame but the wine is still excellent. Tastings provide you with many options of reds and whites

Brilliant wine and gardens! Nothing better than selecting your own platter items from the deli and finding a spot in the sun to enjoy your goodies. The staff were very welcoming and kind. Will definitely return!

Absolutely loved it. Stunning location, great food and delicious wine. I tried about 10 different types of wine and was impressed by the quality. Simply amazing. Jess, the waitress, was really sweet! Great place, love to come back there again. Highly recommended.

Pegasus Bay produce a great selection of wines and the cellar door is well worth a visit. They don’t charge tasting fees but it can get busy.

Great spot to stop by on the way to Hammer springs. They have not only winery but also beautiful garden. It would be amazing for sunny lunch time.
