Well worth the stop off on the way back to Auckland, friendly service and delicious food.. we had a big breakfast (smashed potatoes were superb and bacon crispy, I reckon a nice relish would have gone well with it) and an eggs bene, and the kids had pancakes with Berry’s and mascarpone generous in size, coffee was delicious too
Stopped over for lunch on the way to Auckland from our Bay of islands trip, great food and atmosphere, reasonably priced menu.
Stop here while on a road trip.
The food looked good in the cabinet. I went with pork sausage roll which was the right choice and the staff were really good. I like the decor of the cafe.
I'll be back here again when I'm next in Waipu

Good coffee, fabulous food and great people looking after us. Two of us changed our orders because we saw even better options and they made it seem like it was no bother. The black pudding breakfast (with black pudding from a local butcher) was delicious.
Went there very early as it was opening on a Saturday morning. Spotlessly clean inside. Cabinet food available and was vast in selection. Standard blackboard menu available also. Indoor/Outdoor dining, a fair amount of parking on site. Husband n Wife operation. Coffee was good, savory Scones were best I've ever had. Meal pricing is hovering close to $20/head on average. Would DEFINATELY go back again.

Stopped in Waipu on our way up north, and very glad we did. The breakfasts were fantastic - big without being too much, and very tasty. The potato-onion hash is something I'll be adding to weekend breakfasts at home. All in all worth pulling off the highway for
Imteresting decor featuring salt and pepper shakers. Spacious cafe with outdoor seating available. We had cabinet food which was nice and good coffee. Most of the food is made by the cafe. Friendly staff. Customer bathroom available.

A delightful place to visit. I had a mussel fritter which I thought was very good. Went back the next day and got another one.
