Great rural cafe, awesome setting with a playground for kids and gardens, and lawn area around the cafe. Plenty of tables inside and out, with waterbowls everywhere for your dogs too 😁 Good amount of food for what you order, we had eggs with bacon bene, and the Big breakfast...all good !! Mushrooms were very yummy 👍 Date scone and choc muffin, not so nice, a bit dry.....but otherwise worth the trip down the road from Waerenga 😁

How did I not know about this local place?! The road signage is easily missed but given how many customers there were, it is well patronized. Food was well cooked and presented. There is a good range of cabinet foods. Well staffed which meant waits were not unreasonable. The grounds and outdoor seating was lovely. I'll be back!

Found this cafe on Google Maps. while traveling in New Zealand. This cafe showed a lot of great reviews and it did not dissapoint all. This is really well located cafe just of the M25 roadway. The cafe is extremely well kept and there is also a cafe garden area to appreciate or to let kids have fun. The menu is really nice and the cafe has great variation of food and drinks. The food i ordered was extremely tasty, wholesome and fresh Honestly anyone who is in the local area who is looking for breakfast, lunch or just a nice break I would highly recommend this cafe.

This café was a great find. We were on our way from Auckland to Coromandel with our 7 month old puppy and needed somewhere dog friendly to stop off at and break up our journey. The Corner Stone was really good. The staff, food and location are fantastic and there is even a little loop walk around their gardens, lovely to be able to stretch our legs. There is also a playground for children and plenty of parking.

Mince and cheese pie was a winner. Not cheap at $11+ each, but it was an $11 size pie. Chocolate milkshake pretty good too. This place is geared up for kids and dogs. Big playground with the usual kids stuff for climbing and a slide as well as tricycles. There's a sign welcoming well-behaved dogs. Watch out for uncontrolled idiot big children attempting to ride the 5-sizes-too-small tricycle down the slide!

Great location for breaking a long drive and let the kids and dog out of the car. A well attended garden and tidy modern decor. Great car parking. Good coffee. Eggs benedict were basic with too much sauce but well cooked and flavours as they should be. Muffrns were to die for so moist and morish. And I don't have a sweet tooth. We will be back for sure.!!

Great little stop off point to break up a long journey. A dog friendly cafe, where the Food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. A little on the expensive side, but well worth it. $57.00 for 6 items (excluding drinks).
