Called in at Cafe Red Woods in Swanson. Service was quick and efficient. Team were friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed great coffee and ambience.
Great consistent double shot coffee. Friendly staff! Mocha comes with chocolate fish, which is a bonus :) Food is what you would expect from cafe food.

Oreo frappe is the best thing I have ever tasted. Big breakfast was absolutely delicious. Good portion size filled me up quite nicely. Would rate higher if possible
Came in for lunch with mom today. We ate with the cafe owners as we were invited here to review the cafe. We got the Paleo bowl, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, corn fritters, flat white, mocha and cappuccino with a shot of vanilla. The smoked salmon was really delicious and the poached egg was runny on the inside. The scrambled eggs were at a good consistency and the salmon mixed inside was real flavorful. The toast wasn't too hard or thick. The avocado spread on top gave the toast a bit more flavour. Mushrooms were large and the portion size was good. The cappuccino was at the perfect temperature for drinking and the shot of vanilla gave it some sweetness. The mocha came with a chocolate fish and white marshmallow. Service was good. The environment was relaxing. The coffee came out real quick. The food only took around 15 minutes. Strongly recommend ordering something with salmon in it.
Great coffee and lovely eggs benny but always loved the original eggs benny would prefer if the cafe was less extravagant with puréed beetroot and more spinach 😁

Chocolate brownie was great, and lemon meringue was just the right amount of sweet and sour, little bit over on the cream, but still tasted great.
Coffee was nice and hot, and hit the spot for a cold day like today.

Everything looks great and clean, dated but clean
Shouted my mum birthday lunch and we came here. There was some outdoor seating tables so sat outside in the beautiful sunshine. Food was on the pricey side. We ordered:Fish & Chips, Chefs Spicy Pulled Pork Sandwich, B.L.A.T, curly fries(for my niece as they didn't have a kids menu). Drinks: Hot Chocolate, Strawberry Milkshake and Iced Coffee. The food was delicious, we were all happy with what we got. The curly fries were seasoned really well so I'd come back just for those. Presentation of drinks and food was really nice. Also had a coupon for 25% off so I saved $19.20, bonus! Overall we were all really happy with this choice. I think room for improvement would be adding a kids menu or options. Keen to return.
Enjoyed lunch there today 01.04.23massive beef burger with fries very nice with a flat white coffee average . Service was good and ambience ok . It appeared clean and tidy . Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday
Very happy with this little find on our day out west! Great food and extremely friendly service. Would definitely visit again when out this way!

Lovely place, staff, food & coffee.
Had the vegan brekkie called, The Good Stuff - mushrooms, kumara, scrambled no egg, potato rosti's & avocado.
Hubby had the salmon & capers eggs Benedict.
Both good portions & well seasoned
Wonderful little cafe we stumbled upon. Friendly service, clean and the coffee signs were fun to read. The food was great! (it been awhile since I've had perfectly cook eggs on my eggs bene) the coffee was also really good. Only suggestion would be to wear warm clothes, it's a bit drafty in the cafe especially on these colder windy days.
Extremely nice coffee here. With a nice set vibe. Sit down area is both inside and outside with some limited seats inside but good set of seats outside. It is a nice little cafe to come visit close to the train station for some quick food and coffee.
Ordered the eggs bene. It was good! Lots of bacon and mushrooms. Would have liked a larger slice of bread though, felt like I got the end of a loaf. The beetroot(?) dressing was also pretty overpowering.
Overall good though!
