We went for lunch organized by our tour operator & to our surprise we got a lovely spread of Indian vegetarian food along with salads, fruits, French fries, pizza, yogurt, etc. Lovely hosts . This place is good for making memories for a lifetime. 😊

Beutiful place and location. Food was also good. In total main attaraction is location on the way to Roturua or Glowworm caves.

Great Great Great Stay! The staff and owner here are really friendly and bubbly, I enjoyed my stay here so much that I found it hard to leave. At night, you could see the stars from your accommodation too. There are plenty of activities to do here as a family like sheep shearing, clay bird shooting and farm visits. It's also really near the waitomo glow worm caves

We are two of over 100 entrants of NSRA hot rod association who all stayed at Waitomo chalets and lodge and dined at Roselands both Saturday and Sunday nights. We loved your welcome, your staff, your amazing food, and looking after us so well. Thank you.

It was a little hard to visit the restaurant, but the new owner and the taste of the food. The service was all good.

This place is a hidden gem! If you're in the Waitomo area, you must go! The owners and staff are extremely friendly and the food is top notch. I came for one night and ended up staying for an extra night. I highly recommend a visit!!! Thank you for the wonderful time �

Absolutely amazing!! Definately take the drive out to stay here. Impeccable customer service, great facilities, beautiful scenery and the very best food!! Stayed for 3 nights just to eat their casserole night after night! Cannot recomended Roselands enough. Was one of the best highlights of our trip from Aus!!

This is a wonderful place, friendly staff , lovely food if you are staying locally they have a courtesy van to collect you and return afterwards, they offer more than just food there are other activities that can be arranged as well. A one stop location worth visiting that complements the existing activities of Waitomo.

Stayed at this place had a meal here everything was amazing the owner was the best ever took us out and showed us the local glow worms.

We had a lovely time up at Roselands tonight. We opted for the casserole which was very tasty, followed by some yummy seasoned potato. The whole place is warm, welcoming, and very family friendly. The gardens and fairy lights look so pretty. Bonus was the rugby on the big screen. Thanks heaps Benn, Leonie and staff, we had a really enjoyable date night. Cheers, Brian and Narita �

This is a very nice place for lunch in Waitomo. They have a barbecue special buffet for lunch, their friendly and professional New Zealand chefs cook the meat of your choice any way you like it. Make sure you ask your motel if they have a partnership. This was our hosts' recommendation and we were delighted, their carefully tendered gardens is a plus even on a rainy day.

We spent Sunday night 13th May 2018 there. Had the yummy casserole and took advantage of their free camp area in our Motorhome. It's a beautiful spot!

Great atmosphere! Loved the al Fresco style dining in well maintained gardens. Steak was amazing and cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Top stars!!
