Fudog - Wanaka - Photo album

Would recommend Fudog if you’re in the area and wanting Asian flavours. A lot of restaurants in the area close quite early but this place takes last orders at 9pm so we were able to get a slightly late dinner here. Was pleasantly surprised by all dishes ordered as everything was quite tasty and we
This place was fantastic. People that had a long wait maybe came during an incredibly busy time? We were seated right away, checked in on multiple times (service a little more American style) and had our meals in 20 minutes or so. Mongolian Beef and friend noodles were our favorites. Top two meal I
Had the Mongolian beef wok noodles and they were phenomenal. I’d disagree with other reviewers saying is salty. I put a dab of soy on mine to up the salinity. Definitely a don’t miss place to eat if in the area.
The place to be at in case you would like to have some Asian Fusion food!! Great dumplings and Wok tossed noodles. Do not miss out on the Crispy eggplant!
As soon as we walked into this quaint establishment we were greeted warmly and shown to our table which we reserved prior. Once seated we were advised that a better table had opened up on the balcony with a front row view of the mountains (stunning!) Our server was attentive and friendly, he knew th
We were recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint! Obviously you require a QR code to enter at the moment. Staff were incredibly friendly when greeting us! Great selection of drinks and the food was AWESOME. We opted for the market fish as our large plate, which was pan fried gurn
Loved the food here ! Tried their fried eggplant and karaage ( deep fried chicken ) and it was fantastic ❤️. Would recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for some Asian cuisine around the area. Though the waiting time is a little long due to how pack the restaurant is during our visit. Bu
My partner and I stumbled upon Fudog while we were staying the night in Wānaka recently. It’s a niche spot and is tucked away, but the food was oh so delicious, complete with brilliant customer service and a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately we did not take any photos of the food as we enjoyed it so
Delicious Asian inspired food. Especially liked the fried cauliflower and the dumplings. The cocktails were also delicious. Will definitely return.
It is a bit out of main restaurants area, and in a bit of hidden place. I loved all the food since Fudog has all the taste that I like as an Asian. Not a authentic but fusion style that is a mixture of East north Asia. The portion wasn’t great compared to price, but I am happy to visit this restau
Nice food, good service, a bit pricy, portions are small. Very busy on Sunday night, recommend booking in advance.
Food was amazing. My personal favourites were the crispy eggplant, Angus beef, oyster mushrooms and Kung pao potatoes. The cocktails were expertly made and the service was fantastic.
It was just the best family dinner ever! Our group of 6 ranged from 5 months to 67 years. Everyone enjoyed the spectacular food and efficient and friendly service.
The food is sublime, especially the Fried Cauliflower crispy with chilli sauce, and the Mongolian beef with the combination of crispy exterior and tender center with pepper sauce is divine. Staff are easy-going and professional, making for a relaxing dining experience.
Excellent restaurant. Accommodated us at short notice, food and service were super. Great value for money. Highly recommend.
Best Asian food I think I’ve ever had. Had the kimchi veg, udon mushroom, Asian greens and the eggplant. For desert the elderflower shaved ice kakigori. Wow.
Dinner with 4 adults. Loved each dish. High quality, healthy serving sizes and sooo fresh.
