Fabulous find! Just to the side of the Hawea garage. Great coffee, selection of delicious home made cakes and sandwiches including some amazing healthy raw treats. Lovely sunny spot with a table and chairs to sit out and clean toilets. Total gem, we came back 3 times in 2 days!! Thank you
Very cute little caravan cafe that was an excellent bike ride from Wanaka. Vegan options available. They also had alternative milks. The chai and hot chocolate with oat milk were excellent and the vegan toastie was made of beautiful sourdough bread, a homemade patty, pumpkin, hummus and mesclun. Ver
We googled where to get the best coffee near Hawea and it came up with Mo's coffee. Thank you to everyone who reviewed to give us this answer as it really was the best! The scones were the best as well! Highly recommend stopping at Mo's for coffee and food if you are staying near Hawea or just pass
Awesome coffee and great toasties, the bread was very yummy
Mo's has it all. Great (every time!) locally roasted coffee, homemade food and locals who banter with each other and visitors …when its welcome.
Yummy such delicious coffee! Finally, Lake Hawea needed this. Locally roasted coffee beans (See Crow Fly) used to make the best Latte in Wanaka. Also have freshly baked goodies (vegan slices, smoothies) and toasties. Highly recommended!
I always stop when I'm passing Mo's for a cheese scone and coffee. Both are delicious and served by friendly staff.
Wow, this is really a gem! Great talk, great coffee (flat white is wow!), super tasty cake (cheese-plum) and meatloaf toasty! And a lot of good ingredients and stuff standing there and all is selfmade! More than highly recommended, when you pass by, its a mist have! Dont miss it!
My wife and I were staying in Lake Hawea after aborting our trek up the Timaru River because of flooding. The last thing we expected to find was a trailer at the petrol station serving smoothies, coconut milk lattés, or raw/vegan/gluten free treats all made by the owner in her little camper. Charmin
