We enjoyed a lovely meal last week to celebrate our Dad's 70th Birthday. The food, drinks and service from Gary was outstanding. Everything is very well presented and I would highly recommend Cashmere Lounge as a special occasion or Date night restaurant! :) Now is the time to support these restaurants while we are seeing the closure of some other Iconic Wellington restaurants.

I recently visited the Cashmere Lounge Restaurant and Bar and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was expertly prepared and beautifully presented, truly showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. The location of the restaurant was convenient, located close to the city and easily accessible with ample parking when we arrived. The decor of the restaurant was tasteful and added to the overall atmosphere, creating a comfortable and inviting environment. There is a bar too! I particularly enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant and would definitely recommend it to others. I will definitely be returning in the near future, as my experience was fantastic. I give it a 5-stars for its excellent food, impeccable service, and pleasant atmosphere.

The Cashmere Lounge is a very cool atmospheric neighbourhood restaurant.
Menu offers something for everyone. The quality of the ingredients skills of the chefs combine to create dishes that will bring a smile to your face.
Well worth taking an Uber to get to this relaxing welcoming restaurant.

Great food is simple, yet elegant. It speaks for itself. And boy, this meal didn't shut up.
The service was impeccable. We arrived a little late and the owner accommodated us, and delivered a beautiful meal in a relaxed and contemporary setting.
I couldn't recommend them more strongly. And being right next to Khandallah railway station makes it really convenient.

A huge asset to Khandallah. Really lovely, warm, cosy aesthetic - you do feel right at (your upmarket) home. The menu was very well thought out, everything looked and tasted delicious. We’ve been for dinner a few times, but particularly loved the French toast for brunch. Lovely staff.

If you want a guaranteed great night out with beautiful food and wine, this is the place to come to. The lamb blackstrap is lovely, the venison so tasty, the beetroot ravioli divine. Great food and great service.

A great and unique experience! Very pleasant and relaxing environment, very attentive front of house staff and extreme attention to detail with the crafting of the dishes ordered. The snapper tasted very fresh and was beautifully cooked, accompanied by an innovative selection of textures and flavours very hard to come by. Meal came out much quicker than expected and the meal was priced very appropriately for portion size! Definitely will be returning in the near future.

What a great place! Tucked away in khandallah this restaurant offer fantastic food for sharing, and has a cozy atmosphere. The master stock beef cheeks and scampi were standouts.

Excellent, amazing food. If you want a gastronomic experience then this is definitely the place to go. This was our second visit and I can't believe the food was even better the second time. Lots of new things on the menu too. We had the Blue cod, (the seasonal special), and it was world class. So pleased we followed the waiters recommendation on this too. If the waiter says it is good and it all gushy then believe him is my tip!

Called into Khandallah's Cashmere Lounge for the first time today. I really enjoyed the experience. It has a really relaxed cool vibe, great winelist and tapas selection. I found the food to be excellent with fresh summer flavours - just right for a warm evening in Wellington. The host was very welcoming and the service the right amount of attentive. We will definitely return and recommend it to those looking for a slice of suburban sophistication. Didn't try, but the oysters sounded fab also!!

This is a new restaurant and a new concept for Khandallah - tapas style. Ambience is excellent and there is an extensive wine list. The service was outstanding but when one of our party was keen on a glass of bubbly (it was a Xmas dinner get together) they had run out leaving one person at our table was disappointed.<br/>Having shared meals is not new - we do it all the time with Indian and Chinese. However the prices were very steep for what was essentially entrée size dishes.  For this restaurant to ensure return custom they will either have to increase the size of the dishes or lower the prices.  <br/>Having said that the food was excellent and if you don't mind the prices, worth a visit.
