Love this restaurant/ cafe! It is dog friendly and overlooks the beach. We had the crumbed fish and chips and clam chowder. Both tasted delicious! The staff were friendly as well!

Generally a great place for breakfast with friendly helpful staff and prompt service. Can get busy so perhaps book in weekends. Great views of the airport and ocean. Eggs bene was nice but cold on this occasion. Otherwise recommended.

Perfect beachside cafe. No frills. Just what you want at a beach cafe. Friendly staff. If you enjoy good food and with sights of flights landing, this is the place for you. Pet friendly place. Cafe gets busy, so recommend you make bookings. Thier Milkshakes are a must try.

Being a bit of an aeroplane fanatic, this is the perfect spot for a bite and a drink. While the weather was a bit stormy and the sea was choppy, this was a perfect spot to enjoy a hot drink and breakfast. As per usual, drink orders were taken first. Coffees and Teas all around! The coffee was very good, the flat white smooth and creamy, hot and steamy! Watching the surfers waiting for their next breaker, we all ordered our food. 3 of us ordered Eggs Benedict, and one ordered the Waffles. The eggs were cooked perfectly, exploding onto the toast when cut with the knife. The hollandaise was light, slightly acidic, and the perfect compliment to the plate. The bacon was nice and crispy, and I loved the ciabata toast, well toasted. The waffles were a treat, covered in syrup and a delicious cinnamon cream. The waffles had a nice crispy coating, and all went down a treat. To top it all off, the prices were incredible, at around $20 per person. So a delicious breakfast, lovely drinks, and the pleasure of watching the planes come and go all while the ocean churns away in the background. It doesn't get much better than that!

Great friendly café right next to the airport by the sea. Perfect location to watch the coming and going of aircraft and ferries crossing the Strait. Limited menu but that means everything is cooked to perfection. Good selection of drinks, wonderful spot. It's one of our favourite places.

Great location with the beach across the road. Restaurant was modern, clean and busy with people. Generous with the bacon as it was ordered as a side. The brunch meals came out very quickly. The eggs tasted great. My burger came out late and the others had finished eating which I didn’t like… BUT I can forgive this as it was worth the wait, fresh and tasted great. Patty was thick and chips crunchy.

I was there on a Sunday before Xmas. It was full(as expected) and told to wait. After 10 mins we had our table. I have posted photos of the updated menu. We had mince on toast and egg benedict and a caramel slice. They were yum! This is cafe that in a unique area , you can view a beach, cook straight, and Wellington airport. Recommend this cafe if you are in the areas.

Such a perfect location to stop for a bite to eat before dropping someone to the airport without panicking about traffic and being late for a flight. We stopped in for morning tea, looking for a scone or small savoury but there wasn't any, so our group of three had to make do with a stale muffin, toast and salt and pepper squid. The squid was excellent as was the toast which came with marmalade and peanut butter. But more variety of non sweet stuff to chose from would be good. People like a good scone for morning tea! The waitress was too quick to clear our plates when half of us were still eating and she butted into a deep conversation. Some more careful consideration before rushing to clear plates would be appreciated. We will be back though as always enjoy a meal here.
