Review Bin44 - Wellington

Excellent experience! Warm and cosy ambience, super nice staff, tasty food, and very good drinks. I really enjoyed my time here; their heated open space with sea view was super pleasant. We tried Angus plater, which was tasty and delicious. Absolutely recommended! 👍🏼

Couldn't fault this, had an excellent deal through Grab one and had a delicious meal and superfast , awesome service.

Great food and friendly staff however they do seem to work on glide time so not good if you're in a hurry. Decent selection of craft beers as well as top shelf. Has a great snack menu aswell. I enjoyed the platter however it would have been better if the meats were warm.

Great location for a summer evening meal. Awesome food and great staff.

We had a Christmas dinner for 14 people. The team were excellent, attentive, friendly and knowleageable. The location was good. We ended up putting together 2 large tables -which worked perfectly.

Went for a father daughter date...loved their half n half pizza. Since neither of us could manage a whole pizza by ourselves we got this half topped Azuro and half with Carne. It didn't disappoint nor was it amazing..She also got a Virgin Mango Sangria and we finished with a Vegan boysenberry and chocolate mousse cake which she was more than happy to eat by herself 😄

My nephew had his 21st here. I had a steak which i felt was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. Due to diet restrictions they were able to make some simple changes for me. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a reasonably large group and took up a lot of space, but the staff made sure we had enough space to move around the tables. Had a great time and even did a round of tequila shots at the bar with the birthday boy and some others. Nice :)

The atmosphere was amazing. The staff were extremely garrulous. The grills so yummy. I definitely recommend it

Really lovely location and nice interior. The food came out super quick and I'd totally recommend the Angus burger.

It was our first time to visit Bin 44. We were greeted by welcoming FOH and assisted to our table. The food was great. I think the chargrilled angus sirloin steak was one of the best steak I had and was cooked to perfection. It was still tender and juicy despite being a medium-well. The ratatouille on the side and basil pesto complemented the dish well. The other food we've ordered was the double cooked pork belly. It was tender, juicy and goes well with the salad and sauce. The staff made us feel welcome and enjoyed our dining experience. Oh, don't forget the fries, it was crispy on the outside and soft inside.

Great location Good service. Food quality is above average. The Angus steak my wife ordered was amazing. But the market fish I ordered was just average. May be I should try different dishes again next time

What a lovely place to relax on a summer’s evening. A perfectly relaxing location to sip on an cold beverage and nibble on chips. It had been a long hot day but staff were still attentive and chatty.

All I did here was drink whiskey. Maybe that explains the 5 stars! But the staff was knowledgeable and I got to try my first New Zealand whisky and the day was cold with winds over 70 mph so I really enjoyed my time here.

The meat boards are great for a group of people. Lots of craft beer on tap too

Having one person most of the time serving at the bar before the Queen concert showed poor management or planning. I think I spent an hour in queues for 3 rounds!!!! Beers great and happy (amazing) female bartender though!

We had Sunday early dinner, restaurant ( or bar ) was very empty. We came from Auckland and we thought it nice to have dinner at Wellington waterfront.  We had small dish, and waited 30 min then came out mains. My son and husband had beef steak. Beef was cooked OK as request but mash potato was not mash properly, had many lumps. No vaggi on the plate. I think it is very poor steak meal for the price.  I had fish which is very dry. It was good location so foods were very pity. We will try different place next time we came to Wellington.
The Food Snob
Came here on my wedding anniversary. Staff were super friendly and the burgers were absolutely delicious. They were under the pump due to a Grab One promo but given they only had 2 staff on the service was still excellent with a smile, food was prompt given their busyness and the quality was excellent. Highly recommend will return and pay full price, and we tipped to show our gratitude. Nice work!

Great service and a busy restaurant but the standard of the food here leaves a lot to be desired on our visit last Saturday night.<br/>We all ordered the Sirlion Steak for our mains and while the meat was tender enough it was surrounded by a hard piece of uneatable fatty skin.<br/>Our 6 friends all complaint about it to the waiter but nothing was done about it.<br/>We don't think we will return here in a hurry..<br/>BIN 44 used to be one of our favourite dine out restaurants but not now!!

Amazing service the waiters always seem to remember you, awesome selection of craft beers from all over NZ. Food is as expected from a bar, but it’s filling!
Darren Hayward
Terrible service. Waited over an hour and still no meals so left. Saw tables who sat after us all getting food. Ruined our weekend away in Wellington as we had to head to the airport on an empty stomach. Still charged us for our cold coffee despite our complaint about the service. Stay away!
Bobby
Steak salad was excellent 8/10, pizza lacked topping, cheese and flavour 4.5. I enjoyed the relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere, heating, lighting and music very chill

Very busy at this place and the staff are friendly.<br/>It was difficult to get a table, it took a while but we managed to get one.<br/>The Seafood Chowder was nice also the Beef and Chicken salad, Pizza.<br/>Service was ok <br/>We will definitely go back

Fantastic atmosphere. Good service. Amazingly tasty food. And anyone that stocks Man O War gets a huge tick from me! I ordered the vege dish ASB didn’t regret it. Beautiful dish filled with generous pieces of haloumi. Just devine. Will definitely recommend this place and come back for this meal.

Simply the worst breakfast experience ever in my life. Short staff forgotten order no customer service. Avoid it at all cost. Ended up leaving without breakfast
Sally
Really nice atmosphere, with friendly staff. Our dinner meals came out in record time, and were fresh and tasted great. We ordered the Fried Calamari which I would recommend, Margherita Pizza and Tagliatelle Pasta. The meals were good value for money, nicely made and tasted great.

Not a bad place to sit and watch the world go by with a drink. The outdoor area is large, though furniture feels a little dated (and fragile). Indoor is nicely decorated, but fairly cramped. <br/><br/>Due to a swift southerly brushing through we opted to site inside, but after we had ordered drinks (from friendly staff), we were told we had to sit outside as all tables inside were reserved. <br/><br/>Totally understand, but probably could have told us that before letting us order our drinks. A bit of a shame though as we had planned to order food. We ended up going elsewhere, that was a little warmer. Will probably go back, but will have to book ahead next time!

Worst customer service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I was argued with in front of the whole restaurant about being wrong about my steak being over cooked. They told me I was wrong and that they refused to take it off the bill. They also said I was welcome to come out and speak to the Manager, chef and wait staff about how the steak was cooked to order. Bullying your customers into eating and paying for your food is not the way to go.
GlutenFreeFoodie
Good service, steak was nicely cooked. Massive drinks list (9 pages lol). My reason for the lower rating is that I didn't understand why I was charged extra for GF steak, when GF side was removed!<br/>Plus it was stated on the menu as GF, but clearly wasn't with beer based sauce through the sides. It was good the staff knew that and seemed happy to make an actual GF version...but didn't mention they would charge me extra for it.
Anna Broxham
The only thing I am disappointed about was there is no cheesecake on the menu. But thats probably a good thing! Their steak meal is to die for! Well seasoned angus steak with a smooth beetroot puree, delicious chunky chips and a side coleslaw. <br/><br/>Pleasant patio bar scene and helpful, polite workers make this place immensely enjoyable.
Sophie Gardiner
Great atmosphere and lovely attentive staff. The food however was a major dissapointment. Menu was different to what's on their website, and far less options. The spicy chicken wings were boiled peices of tasteless fatty meat in a sickly sauce and my steak and chips were cremated, cold and hard as hell (cheap mass produced oven chips). If it wasn't for the salt and pepper on the table there'd of been no taste in any of it. Total bill came to $360.00 for 5 people - total rip off. Wouldn't go again :-(

Went in with my parents who had the grabone beer-gustation voucher. Was very hard for us to make a booking first off but because we had a voucher we didn't want to loose out. We were seated in a bit of an awkward place.. the shoulder barges when someone walked passed just added to the experience. Our waitress definitely wanted to be elsewhere, spilling water on the table, not clearing away dirty dishes and cutlery. Seemed to be out of all beer that we wanted or was meant to be matched (APA with beerimasu is not a good combo). The food left me unsatisfied to say the least. To quote Manu "where is the sauce?!" Very dry and unpleasing. All in all very disappointing evening with you.
Mike Rowe
Very disappointing Sunday brunch! After ordering our meal there was a 45 minute wait for our meal- couldn't even bring us our coffee;  way to long with other frustrated customers. I ordered the smashed avocado bagel- well not sure when and how 2 slices of white bread became a bagel!! My partner ordered muesli that arrived with like a teaspoon of yoghurt. Then to top it of we got an ice cream stick for a teaspoon with our coffee!!! Even Macdonalds can do better guys; all very disappointing considering the restaurant wasn't that busy.

The food was delicious and came out in timely manner! Went there for the four course degustation meal and it was terrific I have never heard of Bin44 before, and with set menus from previous experience never quite had an enjoyable experience! But it was great exceeded my expectations. Food cooked perfectly beer matched well, great environment nice and chilled would Defos recommend to all. The only thing I must say is when the special carers for the restaurant staff and pushing past customer to deliver a coffee doesn't look very good and especially if they don't personally know how to say excuse me they just make their annoying pushy presence know.

Wow so yum! I bought the grab one voucher for four people which included one pizza or burger pp and a glass of either the house wine or craft beer pp. My partner and I shared the beef burger and salami/bacon pizza. It smelt so good I was so excited we dug in to it too quickly to photograph. Haha so yum and will deffinatly be back next time I'm in Wellington for some tasty cocktails and meals

Came here for a few drinks and a bite. I have been here multiple times before but tonight warranted a negative review. My partner and I ordered a glass of sauvingon which arrived very warm. I queried whether the bottle had only just been put in the fridge and whether we could have a cold glass - our drinks were still full. The waitress went to the bar and then returned advising us that was the temperature the fridge was kept at and any other wine would be the same. She suggested adding some ice. I'm not a wine connoisseur but generally think this is a no-no. Overall, pretty disappointed that I was served a room temperature white wine and a complete refusal to remedy the situation except to ruin the wine with ice. Boo to the customer service.
Tasty Food Muncher
Service was unpretentious and to the highest standard I have seen in Wellington. Needed a cheese swap out....no problem you can havd grilled chicken in the salad instead.....it was not any trouble to give us a dessert off the dinner menu either....The food was high quality fresh and full of flavour. I highly recommend this as a good place to have a meal.
Eating My Way Around
Got in just in before the lunch time rush which meant we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I liked that they had a kids menu and I was happy the chicken n chips wasnt deep fried chicken but some lovely breaded breast. My soup hit the spot and the bread was lovely and garlicky. Overall good lunch spot, but downer was it was a tad pricey for what it was.

Average dinner which was not worth the price paid. Service was good but average also. The small seafood plate was delicious and worth its value with a variety to chose from, but the steak meal was not that great. A nice atmosphere though as its located by the waterfront.

Love this place! One of my favourite places on the waterfront!Such a great range of beer, there's always something new to try! The staff are always super friendly and always ready to show off the new range.<br/>And don't forget the great coffee for first thing in the morning!
Julian Bee
Fantastic craft beer selection. Food is nice but a bit overpriced, and the wait staff can be a bit stand-offish. It's really all about the beer
Chris Buswell
Absolutely shocking service and average food. We waited over an hour for our food and by the time it had arrived neither had our simple order of 2 drinks, so we didn't receive anything. Ive never received such terrible service and it made such a simple outing become an incredibly stressful one. Will never eat here again and recommend that nobody else does either.

Came for after-work drinks with a colleague. The restaurant is spacious, especially when all the doors open up to link the inside and outside spaces. Natural light comes through the entire place, and coupled with an awesome view of the waterfront, make this a prime spot for people wanting some sun and drinks. <br/><br/>We ordered a beer and a mojito, together with Cajun fries that came with chipotle mayo and ketchup. They didn't have the beer we wanted, so we opted for the Steinlager Light instead. The drinks came quickly, although I thought the mojito wasn't strong enough. It was pricey too.<br/><br/>Our chips took forever, and so we asked the waitress about our order. It turned out that it was never put through, which was slightly disappointing, especially since the place was mostly bare and not busy at all. <br/><br/>When they arrived, the fries were thick cut and sprinkled with Cajun spice. They were piping hot which was nice, but nothing special otherwise. <br/><br/>Showstopper: Great location for the summer. <br/><br/>Overall grade: B-. Would have been higher had they not dropped the ball on our order.

Located just slightly across from the TSB Bank Arena at Wellington Queens Wharf, Binn44 is a great spot to pop into for a meal or just a drink. We were there for just a quick drink and snack and found the craft beer selection to be quite good and the side fries very tasty!

Went here for lunch today with friends, as a nearby restaurant was busy and this wasn't that busy. The food and drinks were fine, nothing wrong there, just the service.  We waited for about 20 minutes before the waiter came back to take our order. Two meals came out and not three, so one of my friends had to wait. The guy who took our money brushed it off saying everyone was ordering lunch at the same time.  It was more like they didn't have enough staff.

Good service and great for a drink and snack but the menu is fairly heavy and not always well cooked. Great calamari however, particularly with the chipotle mayonnaise.

I've been coming to this bar ever since I moved to Wellington last year. I love this place!<br/>Great coffee, awesome beers, and always really cool people with whom to chat. Staff and customers all always super friendly.<br/>Best place to sit and catch some sun in central Wellington. Grab a coffee and one of their awesome pizzas!<br/>Have never had a bad experience

The pizza and burgers were okay but the chips were ridiculously salty. We ordered an extra patty in one burger and expected to pay more but not $10 more - most establishments will charge $4-6 extra. We waited 40 minutes for the food to be served apparently because we ordered a steak well done. When it arrived the steak was so overcooked it was solid and charcoal on the outside. The waitress was lovely though.

Started off Wellington on a Plate with a three course meal at Bin 44. I really liked the atmosphere at this restaurant. It was relaxed yet elegant with nice decor. The service here is friendly but too informal and the food is average. For entree I had a squash bisque. Basically, a creamy pumpkin soup. While the dish tasted nice enough, it was very uninspired. It’s something I would have for lunch on a work day. It didn’t taste any different to a good packet soup from the supermarket fridge. The best part of the dish was the bread that accompanied the soup. It had been slightly charred and was delicious. For main i had the salmon. The dish came with mixed vegetables: carrot, bok choy and celery. Another uninspired creation. The sauce on the dish was very flavoursome and I really enjoyed it. The salmon was fresh and was a nice cut but was overcooked. My friend’s dish was ribs served with mash potato and bok choy. The ribs were burnt, the mash lacked flavour and they hadn’t dismantled the bok choy – it was just one massive piece without any seasoning or sauce. For dessert I had the chocolate cake. I must admit it was pretty good. The icing was perfect. The cake came with a few stewed berries. While I did enjoy the cake it would have been even better with the addition of cream, ice cream or mascarpone. My friend’s panna cotta didn’t wobble at all and the accompaniments were bizarre. Covering a basil leaf in sugar syrup and then dipping it in sugar crystals is an abomination. Once we had finished our mains the waitress said “your desserts are ready when you are.” I found this comment very strange. It’s the restaurants job to time the arrival of dishes. And how long had our desserts been sitting around for? Overall, this restaurant lacks creativity and finesse.

Well....im not sure where to begin.. being seated promptly was great...but after that it did go down hill. Not a happy start to my first wellington on a plate.<br/><br/>Firstly....waited 25 minutes for an entree.....then got some pumpkin soup.... a main size almost and crab cakes....where is the crab? <br/>Then the mains...the salmon dish was amazing... but the beef....ribs.. why burn them?????? And not render the fat down?<br/>Dessert, the friends was perfect and chocolatie but she said needed some cream.... mine... panacotta that had no wobble!!!!! A piece of random basil coated fully in sugar and some odd brittle...nearly broke my teeth.<br/><br/>Not sure if il be needing a doctors bill first after the fatty burnt ribs or a dentist bill from my teeth nearly breaking....<br/><br/>At least the company was great.

Went on 19/6 for a Friday lunch Food was good for what you paid for it, service was a bit poor. Only 2 wait staff on over a reasonably busy Friday lunch period.
Cameron Strange
Chose this restaurant due to other bars being quite busy. On arrival the service was rather poor and almost as if the waiters were clueless as to the protocol of waitering. The food was fast, but quality was not accompanied by the speed of service . The description of the food on the menu was not accurate for the prosciutto wrapped chicken supreme which was accompanied with green beans, ratatouille and risotto. The risotto was not a risotto rather a small cup of steamed unseasoned rice to which I was rather shocked at. We enquired as to why they had described it to be a risotto and not steamed rice the chefs response was "it is the type of rice." The rice was arborio which should of been the described as "arborio or steamed rice" not "risotto." Which was misleading and would have made me change my choice of main if the description was correct. The chicken was tasty, but was let down by the rice. No compensation or valid explaination was given and we were told that the menu will be revised in an unconvincingly manner as the waiter gave us a funny look as he walked away.

We went here with no booking at 7:30 on a Friday night and it was totally packed. Luckily enough the friendly front of house dude managed to find us a table! We've been here before and it was brilliant last time and we had the same experience this time. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and made great recommendations for wine to match with food. I had the surf and turf, and my girlfriend had the Hereford steak, both of which were fantastic - The only downside would be the vegetables were a little average. Her steak came out medium rare when she asked for it medium well/destroyed. (I know, it's one of the constant struggles in our relationship) - Anyway, accidents happen so in my opinion it's all about how it's dealt with. I sent it back and they were very apologetic about it. They brought her out a whole new meal pretty quickly perfectly ruined, just how she likes it. They then gave us both a glass of wine on the house. I can't recommend this place highly enough, one of the best places in Wellington.

I have always wanted to go to Bin44 but just never had until today I was amazed how awesome this place was. My girlfriend and I sat in the restaurant and ordered off their fantastically priced menu. The food came out fast and after we both had finished we agreed that it was one of the best lunches we have had in Wellington. Defiantly check this place out, it was above and beyond our expectations!<br/><br/>Nice work Bin44

After having a relatively poor experience in Bin 44 myself and my friends decided to head back and give it another go. The service was great, the meals came out promptly and were beautifully cooked. I had the scallops and bacon dish which I recommend highly. My friends enjoyed the experience and it was great to find out that our experience was a one off. Bin 44 was busy and we still got excellent service.

Took a friend from out of town to a place that I had heard good reviews about, sadly it was downhill from there. We arrived at the place, found a table and waited for a long time for service, it wasn't until we had walked to the bar to get our own menus that the wait staff decided to give service. The overall feel of the place was careless, the service was slow and done without care for the job. Orders where missed, not placed or incorrect. When asking the waitress if the plate was gluten free we were told yes it was, however, keen inspection could easily tell it wasn't, I then requested the waitress to check with the kitchen if the plate was gluten free or not, she then returned to take it away and replace it with the correct order. After this small hiccup we proceeded to mains and desert, after ordering a main course we waited and waited to have it arrive with the desert course. When paying the bill the duty manger was apologetic about it but sadly no apology can fix a poor night like this. For starters we had plates to share, the calamari was OK, slightly overcooked, bland and the dipping sauce was interesting to say the least, the antipasto platter was placed without care on the plate, and needs some attention to be called an antipasto platter (for $24 something dollars I think there has been a slight miscalculation of cost). The main was the surf &amp; turf, it took over 1 hour to arrive at the table and when it did, it was with the desert course, the steak was far too overdone (after asking for it medium-rare), the vegetables had probably been microwaved and where extremely bland and the prawns where rubbery and old. Desert was actually OK, but not up to Wellington standard.

I don't think any review I could craft would do justice to just how highly I rate this place. I was tasked with organising a client function for 12-13 people : drinks after work on the Thursday before Christmas. No pressure. *cringe* Of course, being *that* time of year, I was flat out and stressed and, being relatively new to Wellington, don't have an intimate knowledge of every single bar in the central City. I tried a few other places suggested by my work colleagues, and was disappointed with what seemed to be a prevailing cavalier attitude and lack of helpfulness (yes, I KNOW it's just before Christmas; and I KNOW you're busy and way too fabulous to even take phone call enquiries, but I thought I was the customer?). And then I dialled Bin44's number and the wonderful Roisin came into my life! Right from the very start, Roisin and the team at Bin44 just knocked it OUT of the park - nothing was too much trouble, everything was organised for me, a table was reserved, food platters were pre-ordered and the stress just disappeared. When I arrived early on the evening of the function, everything was in place just as Roisin had promised, and we were given the benefit of table service (on which, I'm reliably informed, is one of the busiest nights of the year), so that our clients didn't have to queue at the bar. Without exception, every single staff member at Bin44 we encountered was smiling, relaxed, helpful and just LOVELY to deal with. And I haven't even started on the beer selection, the food and the wine list?! The whole evening was a HUGE success; what was supposed to be an hour or two's formality after work somehow ended up being five hours of great food, fabulous beer and wine, lots of laughter and VERY happy clients (everyone seemed to be having too much fun!). Thank you so much to Roisin and her team - I'll definitely be back!

Two of us were looking for somewhere to eat, near to TSB arena and on a busy concert night. We tried to get in 5 or 6 places nearby, all were standing room only (if you were Kate Moss) and fully booked. Eventually we rocked up at Bin 44, which we'd discounted on first pass because we thought it was a cafe. Even though the place was packed with Cohenites, the guy on front of house was smiling, friendly and quickly offered us the last 2 seats at the bar. <br/><br/>He sorted us some drinks and menus and despite the crowds the food arrived quickly. I ordered the California spring salad, which came up sparsely populated with tiny, thinly sliced strawberries which was a shame since they are in season, but very heavy on red onion. My friend ordered pizza, which you really couldn't mess up, and they didn't. We also had a breads and dips plate to share, which was just OK. Some of the bread was the perfect consistency for dipping, until you put in into your mouth and bit down, when it was tooth shatteringly hard. The tapenade and feta cheese dip was perfectly acceptable. <br/><br/>The bar got even more crowded but the staff remained cheerful even though they'd run out of wine glasses, you couldn't squeeze a matchstick in the place, and they were being called on from all angles. It took us a while to pay the bill because of the queue and too many staff trying to use the tills at once. We used the Entertainment book voucher which gave us some discount on our bill, and it came to $44 for 2 meals and the bread plate, 2 glasses of wine and a ginger beer, otherwise I thought the food prices a bit over the top.<br/><br/>The staff deserve every credit for being so cheerful and multi-tasking like a many handed demon. The food wouldn't draw us back, but it would be a good place to sit and nurse a drink, while people watching.

Very average experience, booked for a family event of 8 people on a pretty quiet night. <br/><br/>First we ordered a few plates to share for the table, all were quite nice, the calamari was really good, ordered some more bread for the bread share plate and that came out burnt after all the share plates had been finished, so that was a waste and sent back. <br/><br/>I ordered the sirloin steak, it wasn't anything special, cooked as asked though which was a plus, came with basically raw carrot and cauliflower, was all edible but not something I'd ever go back for, my parter had the terakihi which was over cooked and dry, the crumbed mussels were nice though. <br/><br/>The girl serving us was nice, but didn't come over enough to check for drink top ups, meals took a bit longer then expected to come out to since it was really quite in there. <br/><br/>Dessert I ordered the warm cookie, was really looking forward to it hoping it would redeem the sub par main instead I was given a cold cookie with icecream, the cookie was so hard I had to smash my spoon into it to break it up to eat, it was nice but disappointing, I didn't finish it, they offered to reimburse me on my dessert which was nice. <br/><br/>Overall I wouldn't go back, my partner thought it was ok

Me and the boys came in for just a couple of beers on a Friday night, was awesome to see a good range of beers on tap, and in the fridges. The reason for only 4 stars is because we did not try any of the food, but will most def be back to give it a go as the steaks look pretty good. BOOM!!! best craft beers on the Waterfront by far.

I don't usually eat anywhere near Queens Wharf because the prices scare me off, but I came here for a friends birthday last week and was pleasantly surprised by Bin44.<br/>Our group had a great long leaner table, which I love, and and when I saw a Raspberry Mojito on the menu I couldn't resist. It was delicious, although the raspberry pits threw me off a little, but I guess that's what it is when you get fresh berries in a drink. We had some starters which were great for sharing and delicious. For mains I had the Scallops and Bacon which I haven't seen cooked like this, the sauce was sooo delicious! Yum! The evening was really nice and fun, the atmosphere was great and super friendly and attentive staff!

I was really excited to eat at Bin44 after seeing the reviews online and reading over their menu. I am American and loved seeing the salad options and spinach artichoke dip on the menu. We had booked online a few days before anticipating the place to be busy on a Friday night, but when we showed up they had forgotten our reservation and we had to squeeze into the standing room only bar for 20 mins while we waited for a table. My partner and I ordered drinks while we waited and our drinks were not served until 10 mins after we finally got a table....that's 30 mins to wait for 2 drinks. Sadly my favorite US martini which was listed as one for their special drinks, was just horrible. It is my go to drink in the US, but here it was watered down and you could not even taste a drop of alcohol in it, and everyone at the table who tired it has the same yuck face expression after taking a sip. So we then ordered the spinach artichoke dip as a starter and again it was nothing like what I was expecting or hoping for. It was spicy and no a trace of the creamy, cheesey spinach and artichoke dip I know and love, it reminded me more of a southern cream cheese and shrimp Cajun dip....so that was also disappointing. The mains arrived after a 45 min wait after the place had pretty much cleared out and again the food was nice, but over priced for what you got. The mains run about $30-35 a plate and are just not any flavors or food that are new or anything I couldn't make just as good or better at home. Over all it was a very disappointing experience and I will most likely never be going back. On the positive, I have the place 2 stars due to how packed the place was for drinks on a Friday night, ad it looked like a nice place to get a beer and meet some nice people. the location is great, and the live music and staff were very nice.

I came across Bin44 in my search for a nice place to eat for our wedding anniversary. The total experience was perfect. Friendly, open greeting, beautiful food (it really was) and a great selection of wines and beer! Best of all l think is that we are supporting a young business, with motivated, and courageous owners in this testing market.
