We were in the upstairs space for an event we were holding one Thurs evening. Staff were great to work with, food was mostly pizzas as some food truck had decided not to come. Wide variety of beers and drinks available with wonderful service

The Third Eye was definitely one of the highlights of our beer tour of Wellington. The Tuatara beer was tasty, but it's available throughout New Zealand. This place stood out, though, for its highly knowledgeable staff. In addition to providing us with recommendation for beers we might enjoy, the bartenders gave us tips for other craft beer spots in Wellington, all of which turned out to be hits! As a bonus, one of the staff even gave a (somewhat) reasonable explanation for why the "Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs" line in Star Wars Episode IV was correct. Who knew?!

Nice and relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Comfy outdoor patio area with heaters for the colder days/evenings. Pretty standard fare as far as food goes but if you're a fan of their brews you cant go wrong!

Good beer obviously and the downstairs is pretty sweet looking. A little small, but that's fine if it's not too busy! Their Wellington on a Plate burger was pretty cool, a huge slab of short rib and candied bacon. Good effort but messy as hell to eat!

Many, many interesting beers, made ON SITE by loving artisans. Don't get your usual, get something interesting. They do tasting paddles and are happy to advise based on what you enjoy!
Get to quiz night on a Wednesday if it's on! Hand crafted questions and a fun atmosphere.
Menu's not great, but I'll forgive a lot for good pizza like they make here in their own pizza oven!

I had a private function here last month and the staff work fantastic to work wth to organise it (all via email since I was overseas at the time). The beer selection is always a winner, their food options were very tasty and their private room is fab. A real homey feel which everyone raves about from my party. Staff are also very knowledgeable about the beer which adds to the charm.

They constantly rotate their beers on tap, and it's not just their own beers. You canbe guaranteed good drinks when you're here.
Notable are their tasting trays, with 5 small glasses of different beers, arranged from dark to light, chosen by you. They're small, and the tray's cheap, it's a great way to savior the flavour.
They will fill up your growler.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Very cozy, house feel of a brewery that doesn't seem like a brewery or even brewpub. Got some fries which took a long while but at least there's beer and couches! Not exactly my favourite of Welly breweries but wish I could explain why more. Maybe I'm just looking for a little more unique atmosphere than a wood house?

Nice selection of beers. Had a taster, nice atmosphere, locations little far out if you're walking but worth it for a tipple! Some tasting note cards would be a good idea

Worked with the bartender to pick some beer for my tasting tray and it was all delicious! Not sure if all the beer is fantastic here or if the bartender just did a superb job of picking my beer for me but I was very happy about the experience! Would highly recommend!

Purchased a 6 pack, 5 beers in the box. It's okay, mistakes happen... Send off an email and photo, no reply. 1 star review and will never buy again.
Edit:contacted me after my 1 star review and explained what probably happened and provided a compliment pack. Changed to 5 stars.
