Good coffee. Beans ground on demand and not just ground and stored in a hopper losing their quality.
Nice place for a quiet chat over hot chocolate. My hot chocolate was deliciously spiced. Pleasantly surprised about that. The Cheese Scone though was not bad but not fragrant enough.
Love this place. Fantastic coffee and friendly staff. Finally had the chance to try the food today and was fresh, tasty and well presented.

Been popping in here for a couple months now. Comfortably the best espresso that I know in town, with a delightful rotating guest bean for fellow enthusiasts.
I have also tried a veganised avocado smash and it was gorgeous. Can't recommend this place enough, especially their gorgeous head of market

On this trip to Wellington I tried 6 different cafes all at least 4 stars. Machete was the best all round cafe. They use Supreme label and blend and they make are really outstanding flat white. There Tacos are really good and make a refreshing change from standard and mostly boring cafe fare. Staff
