Review Burgerfuel Johnsonville - Wellington

Online order. Got the American Muscle Double and was yummy, pattys cooked perfectly, double size was very filling. Could have done with a bit more flavour though. Shared a packet of fries and they were so good we regretted not getting a packet each! Looking forward to trying other burgers and getting more chips 😏

It offers nice burgers 🍔. My favourite place to catch up for dinner with friends.

I've had takeaways from here alot over the years. I don't know what's better: the food, how fast everything gets done, the customer service. You've got to experience this Burger Fuel location.

Great spot to go and get a good quality burger. I got an American Bacon BBQ Roadster burger. The burger was tasty and was a good size with high quality ingredients. My only issue is that there was a little bit to much sauce in my burger but I guess that would come down to personal preference. However the burger was a little on the expensive side. Reasturant was clean and tidy considering it was a takeaway and the staff were also friendly. Definitely would come back again.

Never been to Burgerfuel before as we are from the UK, but wow, really good burgers and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the burger and the chips, will definitely be visiting again before we have to leave New Zealand!

I took a star away because the door doesn't close so there was a really cold draft and they only have tiny bottles of drink but the burger was amazing and the kumara fries were the best I have had.

We had the best experience last night at Burger Fuel Jville. I would like to thank Damian, Tamlyn and Sophie for our delicious food and best service. We are from Porirua but we started buying from Jville because we were happy with the service and food. The kumara fries are the best in Jville!!!🎉🎉🎉

After a long day of travelling the positive energy of the employees, who were also very nice made my experience much more enjoyable. Continue the awesome job guys!

Ordered double American muscle online, but the system cancelled my order and deducted my account anyway. I went to the restaurant anyway and explained the situation. The staffs there were very friendly and understanding. They Made the burger right away. I am really grateful for the staffs! ...and for the management, please fix the payment system.

I just can’t love the aioli sauce more! I have tried all beef burgers except the last one on menu. It will be my next trial. So far, my favorite is BIO Fuel. Their beef is amazingly fresh and yummy

I love the food at Burger Fuel and am so grateful that they have a good gluten free bun.  The chips both potato and kumara are mostly a delight.  Although we have supported Johnsonville Burger Fuel since it first started, we would support the comments from others on this site about the service which has seriously gone down hill over the last twelve months.  A smile, a hello and some manners would really help!  The staff could learn from staff at Burger Fuel Cuba Mall, who are always bright, cheerful and helpful!

The food is very consistent and amazing. I have never had a bad burger from here but the service is terrible. Almost every time we approach the counter we are met by some very poor and downright rude people, one woman in particular. Some manners would go a long way!!

Food is great and consistent, service is non existent from a couple of token team members and some customer service basics would be nice... or even just some manners.

Best Burger Fuel in Wellington. Chips are cooked perfectly and not over done like our Newtown Burger Fuel is. I got some chicken tenders and some fries and my partner got the promotional burger which was the USAYE plus some hash browns with marmite aioli and they were so good!! Service was really good.

My partner and I keep going back for more.  They have a great range of burgers that are always cooked extremely well and I highly recommend the milkshakes and chicken tenders.  The staff are very friendly and the food tastes great.

Good staff, fast prompt online orders store always clean plenty of parking around location and great fresh food recommend to all you burger lovers.

Always a family favourite, when we are willing to spend a bit more then just stopping in the McDonalds drive through burger fuel is always a great choice.  Burgers are delicious - if you were lucky enough to have the snapper burger while it was available (add a egg) it was devine! Flame thrower, bacon back fire are both favourites but the beef burgers are also great with the edition of a egg! Kids love the kids meals, sides are yummy especially kumara fries and chicken fenders. Always busy so pays to call ahead to order or order online.

When it comes to takeaways, this one of favourite places to go. The store itself is small but does have seating for about 15 people. <br/><br/>While they do have special promotions every now and then, they've had the same line up for years and need to change it up a bit

I've recently gone gluten free and was a bit worried I would have to strike Burger Fuel off as a fast food option. However their gluten free bun is surprisingly tasty and means I can continue having my favs; Peanut Piston or C N Cheese. Service at Johnsonville was good, price is a bit high but the quality makes it more worth while and off street parking is good given its on the main road.

I've had mixed opinions of Burger Fuel. Since using the Johnsonville branch I didn't enjoy the burgers as much as I used to. I found the burgers were prepared with too much sauce making them a bit sickly. I realised it was their aioli I didn't like. It put me off for a while but now that I ask them to remove the aioli, this had made all the difference for me.<br/><br/>My last visit I ordered the Ring Burger minus the aioli - first time trying that one. I really enjoyed it. Soft bun, tasty patty and proper bacon, cooked just right. And a good portion of bacon. The jalapeño sauce added an interesting flavour. = $10.50<br/><br/>My partner ordered the Low Carborator which she enjoyed.<br/><br/>I've tried several varieties of their burgers - and they have been enjoyable, good combinations of flavours. The chicken varieties are very good. Quality, moist chicken.<br/><br/>I like the kumra fries, they are a nice change and taste good. Not so keen on their potato fries - bit floury for my taste.<br/><br/>Apparently they don't do combo deals anymore. eg: burger/fries/drink. If you order those items, you pay the normal price, no bundle offer anymore.<br/><br/>Staff have always been friendly and helpful.<br/><br/>Online ordering is good. Intuitive website. You can amend your order and remove/add what you want. Depending what changes you make it may adjust the price.<br/><br/>We used their mobile app for the first time on our last visit. Interface is easy and usable - although the order didn't go through, so we called up and ordered instead. However, the next day we got charged for the mobile app order too. It was an easy fix. They were very apologetic and refunded us immediately. There was an error with their system that day and we weren't the only people affected. This isn't a negative comment as things do go wrong sometimes, but it's how a business deals with the mistake that makes the difference. It was dealt with quickly and politely, so it's a plus.<br/><br/>Plenty of parking in the Countdown if you need it. <br/><br/>We'll continue to go to Burger Fuel when we fancy burgers.

My partner and I ordered some burger fuel over the phone. 2 burgers, 1 Spud fries, and 1 Kumura fries. Came to a total of around $40. I was told it would be 10 minutes. I arrived at the establishment 10 minutes later, paid for my order and then had to wait another 10 minutes for it. Upon returning home and unpacking the order I immediately noticed that the Spud fries were missing. May not be a big deal but when you are paying $4.90 for chips you expect to get them. Anyway....The kumura fries were very soggy and unpleasant; i suspect they had been sitting for a long time and were not cooked to order. Onto the burgers themselves. My burger had extremely undercooked bacon in it which i removed to avoid getting ill. The beef pattie was overcooked and dry. My partners burger was OK but definatley not worth the huge price tag. It is a shame to have a bad experience here because I have enjoyed every other meal from other Burger Fuels. Will not be returning.

I have just discovered burger fuel ad have to say....."so this is where the great vegetarian burgers have been hiding.  Oh my...delicious.  I now know where to go for that extreme emergency hit when I am too lazy to cook.<br/><br/>Parking ok, ordered on the phone, burger waiting and ate it asap.  Will be a repeat customer.

Great place and had used our junk mail vouchers awhile back to try some burgers we thought were a bit expensive and have been buying them ever since!!! Great value and certainly the distinction between quality and quantity. Noticed a new franchise in Town and the staff were amazing there! Friend got the Kumara chips and Aoili = Oh My God amazing!!!! <br/><br/>Great work guys :) A+

burgers is nice,but the communication line is dreadful,most of the time takes too long to answer the phone and sometimes cant get thru..off the hook ?
