Review The Frogurt Store - Wellington

Wide-opened yogurt cafe. Simple design yet chick! Various toppings counter placed in the middle of the cafe is well arranged. Look at them, think, take some, take little, depends on you. The choices of yogurt are chocolate, moccha, strawberry, blueberry, and original. Choose your frozen yogurt and toppings, then ENJOY!

Delicious frozen yogurt and amazing waffles!! Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend

A bit overpriced and the machines all have different speeds of release which can result in a bit to much. Theres a good spread of toppings but could do with more flavor options for popping boba. The staff are nice but sit down to the side when no one is paying which is good or bad depending where you come at it from. The price gets high very quickly (3.05 per 100 grams) and is sometimes a bit of a shock when you realise you just spent $9 on a small thing of frogurt. The shop itself is very clean and the chairs are reasonably comfortable.Open late and overall pretty good

HUGE selection of toppings but the cost for the weight is way too high compared to other similar "pay by weight" stores. First time there was with my niece and we were fairly modest with our orders and it was still $16 for the two of us, had to pay as I didn't want to disappoint her. Was expecting at the very highest, a max of $12.

$20 for 2 cups of frozen yoghurt and minimal toppings. Perhaps my fault for not realising how much the yoghurt would weigh, but I imagine many newbies would make the same mistake. Furthermore, the flavours we got (chocolate and vanilla) were really not great. In fairness, it's a cute place and the self-serve is fun, but I could have bought 4 dominos pizzas for the same price :(

Took my Brothers here, One brother loved it the other one not so much. It might have been Because of the ice-cream they chose. Only mango worked out for me. But the price increased rapidly we didn't even put on much topping (I didn't even have topping). But I love the self-service thing.

Good Di Bella coffee and even better experience with the owners! Must visit if you feel like having the Di Bella waffles and coffee! The place is also made nice!

I would love to see this shop lift their game as I love the self-serve concept. There's a great chain called Frozen By a Thousand Blessings which does this very well (unfortunately I don't think we have it in NZ). The Frogurt Shop in my opinion does not do it well. I found the frogurt to be watery (perhaps not cold enough) and the flavours over-sweet and unremarkable. The toppings are mostly pick'n'mix that can be found at the nearby New World. Options can be limited due to empty trays, especially with the fruit. There's really nothing special on offer that justifies the expense of the product. I would happily pay more for better flavours, a dairy-free option, fresh berries, nuts, granola etc.

Went on a quiet Monday night. Staff initially were welcoming but then got a bit condescending once we said that it was our first time going there. We were told the price then I mentioned the 15% off on Mondays, to which the response was that they did that for a year and have since pulled the deal. When I questioned this, I was told to look at the website better because there was an asterisk saying that the owner could stop this at their discretion. Which I went back the website to check, and there is an asterisk but you have to click into the deal to see the terms. Just found it a bit misleading. The layout of the shop was good and there were a lot of options for yoghurt flavours and toppings. good opening hours as it topped off the day nicely before a movie. While delicious, it is Quite expensive, I wouldn't go back without a discount coupon or if the Monday deal stood.

Lots of toppings are available which is amazing bits are the best, but whenever I come I'm disappointed. The frozen yoghurt is quite fake or the best flavours aren't there and you end up settling.
Happy to be proven wrong someday...

Been here once, and its definitely a place going to! Been once and I still can taste the frozen Yoghurt!! My friend recommended it and went and loved the experience! staff are friendly, nice and clean, what a place should be like! Still planning on coming in!

They have a good selection of frozen yogurt (no low-fat option tho) with a very reasonable price. They also provide fruit slices and healthy toppings.

Their new waffles are crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Very reasonable on price for a great amount of waffles.

Staff are not the best, but it's a self service store so it's not really a problem.

Would always recommend this place for waffles and yogurt :)
I Love Food
I got a small cup of original and blueberry flavour with a few toppings and also tried the peanut butter, chocolate, mango and banana flavours. The staff were very nice! However I thought the frozen yoghurt tasted fake... Definitely don't think it's made from natural ingredients. The price also adds up very fast. I was trying to not full up my cup too much as I thought this may be the case and it still ended up being $4.90. Probably wouldn't go here again mainly because I didn't like the fake taste of the yoghurt.
