Review Starbucks Lambton Quay - Wellington

The man who served me wasn’t particularly friendly but i understand that it is a high pressure job. Coffee was made perfectly and very quickly so overall a good experience.

Good coffee, good service and good atmosphere. Great location. I ordered through mobile so I didn't see much of the store as it was very busy but it looked nice and was well kept. There's an upstairs lounge too. It's my favourite time of year because they have the gingerbread frappe. Highly recommend it for coffee lovers or those who aren't so sure about coffee but want a little taste with something sweet.

Strategically located in the Old Bank arcade, we keep stopping by here for frappe, munchies, or souvenirs. My kids love their hit chocolate and danish pastries. I do enjoy their frappucino and like to try their specials on various season. Pies, brownies, and other munchies are mostly available as well. Other things I’d like to buy here is their souvenirs. Mugs and tumblers, with the cities series, are the ones that I collect and buy for souvenirs. Service is fast, staff are friendly. You have enough space in the terrace if you like to eat or drink here. It’s on one floor so it’s comfortable for those with wheelchairs.

Standard Starbucks store, efficient and fast staff. It was a busy Sunday, but service was impeccable and nice. The best area is the upper part, with comfy seats and many tables. Coffee was tasty and well prepared. Inside was clean and tidy, as it is expected. Located in downtown, easy to access for everyone and from everywhere.

I mean it’s Starbucks, right? Tourists will come here because of the familiarity while local Kiwis will go elsewhere because this coffee is mid at best. My kids like it for the (caffeine-free) frappucinos and I like collecting the mugs. Good for a snack, too, but all the seating is outside. So your mileage may vary depending on the weather. Amazingly, it’s the *only one* in Wellington city aside the airport location as far as I can tell. So if you have a craving, this is where it’s at.

A small Starbucks in the middle of this alley, yhe staff make really great tea and coffee. I ordered white chocolate and it's amazing tasty. Love the flavour! Many tumblers are being sold here. Almost every town in New Zealand labels on tumblers are for sale. Sipping drinks while watching passer-by -- Incredible!

Good vibes but can get extremely busy and it may take a while, this is the best starbucks to utilise mobile order and pay for that exact reason! Staff are always super nice! Everything is usually in stock too which is great.

Great little starbucks in an awesome location near the cable car company. Note that besides the small size, there is plenty of seating upstairs and outside.

Was a typical Starbuck. Yummy drinks and service qas thorough. Only down fall is the boss shohting orders at his staff. Went twice in 2 days and same behavior was displayed. It made it awkward to sit in the cafe

While Starbucks isn’t my first choice for coffee the location and upstairs lounge alone makes this a fantastic place to grab a coffee and relax. Lovely staff too

Starbucks Lambton Quay is alongside some huge competition in the Wellington region. Similar to other Starbucks most of their coffee is much weaker to its competitors. You should not have to pay extra for a strong coffee in this price range. The staff here are always friendly and helpful which adds great value to the brand

It is the Best customer service is amazing and I love it there are sooo many Great options and they have new drinks quite often and they have delicious snacks savoury and sweet you could choose if you want hot or leave it how it is

Love the iced americano and love the choice of being able to chose sugar free vanilla essance flavour. But I find starbucks quite overpriced. $5.60 for a shot of coffee and water with ice is a bit essesive

On a non-busy Tuesday morning at 11am I popped out to treat myself to a caramel latte whilst at work. With no one in the queue and one person awaiting coffee I thought - jackpot! A sullen hipstery barista took about 15 minutes to make it, wandering around finding things to do other than make my coffee. With a plethora of decent independent coffee shops nearby why did I go to Starsucks!!!!

Starbucks - a person can fall in love with them over and over again. One of my favourite places to hangout after a long walk with my best buddy.

We had hazelnut signature and café mocha on several occasions. This outlet has few chairs along the walkway which gives a whole new experience to enjoying Starbucks

I like Starbucks coffee, I'm not ashamed to admit sometimes I just crave a Grande Mocha extra shot extra hot with whip and even though there is some incredible baristas and coffee companies in Wellington sometimes nothing beats Starbucks. I like the staff member with the Nine Inch Nails logo tattooed on his arm. His service is excellent. This place gets packed with tourists due to its prime location so waits can be a little long but that's due to their popularity. The staff handle the busy pace really well.

I go here far too often early on a Monday and usually Thursday to get an unhealthy morning kick. I would say in general for all Starbucks they are quite expensive. This location has the benefits of being close to the arcade and down the lovely Lambton Quay so it's pretty central. The staff are quick to get your order ready and there's a nice upstairs seating area too. Overall a nice clean coffee shop but it's more expensive than any other of your usual Mojo or general barista house.

As for the coffee I usually have a green tea Frappuccino with whipped cream. They usually do it so it's a little warm but last time the drink was cold so I was a bit surprised in a not.good.way. Keep it simple next time probably.

Staff are very friendly, I wanted to try the new Red Velvet Mocha (I'm not a huge fan of mochas as I find them too sweet). The staff warned me that it tasted like there was alcohol in it -there wasn't and asked if that was okay with me because they didn't want me to have a shock.
The mocha was average didn't look too appealing and was too sweet for my preference, but I loved the atmosphere of the joint. It's a nice place to sit down and enjoy life. There's faint music playing in the background and nicely lit.
I've had coffee here before and it's always really nice, for coffee it is slightly overpriced (coffee is already overpriced just even more pricier). I wouldn't recommend the Red Velvet for anyone who doesn't like the taste of alcohol or anyone who's not a big fan of sugar - instead stick the the basics such as a flat white or latte those are good.

I don't drink coffee so I ordered the iced chocolate or non coffee frappacino, weather was warmer than usual, it was perfect, delicious and just the pick me up I needed after having a dud lunch earlier on.

For the most part this place is decent like a typical Starbucks, but the manager is absolutely horrible! Watching her talk down to staff was uncomfortable.

This is actually my first try out of Starbucks.I ordered a passionfruit macaroon and a chocolate Frappuccino .The combination fitted well. The flavours of the frappuccino was above average for me.Not as quite as I expected. However overall I fond the experiment and my trip to Wellington composed it.

This Starbucks was a hang out for me and my friends in College times, and it's still the same as it was years ago.

The Upstairs is awesome for chilling and relaxing.

the Coffee is really nice, the staff are good at what they do, and in my opinion this Starbucks sets a smooth standard for the other Starbucks out there.

My first visit to Starbucks was a pleasant surprise! Once you are 10 steps away from the entrance, you get a strong aroma of coffee which is soothing for any coffee addict.

It might be too strong for the regulars at Costa but it is the real flavor of coffee, strong and bitter!

I personally feel that the coffee absolutely amazing!

Do try their hot chocolate as well as it will get you addicted to it.. Rest is still a misery for me but every time I visit this place, I am sure there will be something new waiting for me to try .
