French Cancan - Wellington - Photo album

First visit-Good place for refreshment with nice and approachable staff. 2nd time visit - I recently had the pleasure of trying their chicken pie, and it was an absolute delight! The creamy filling was not only delicious but also incredibly satisfying—I couldn't believe how full I felt after just on
I just went to this place today, we ordered a kettle of tea and a coffee with tart tatin and fruit tart. I can say, they are yummy and cheap with a lovely staff that offer us a free refill for our milk. Merci.
My fav pie in town! Chicken and cream 😍 it’s nice, crispy and flaky. Nice spot to grab a coffee in Newtown. The staff is lovely as well.
Great small cafe, great service and the almond croissants are amazing
Pain au chocolate and almond croissant were delicious. My partner reported that her coffee was also really good. Would recommend.
Amazing service!!! I bought a few pastries, but hands down the almond croissant was my fav. This place is a must try if you are staying at Wellington Hospital.
What an indulgent treat in the heart of Newtown! Authentic French pastries that are incredibly heavenly and yet so accessible at 142 Riddiford Street. Their croissants are rich, delicate, and flaky, their Mille Feuilles cake is decadently creamy and delicious, and their cakes are superb. The servi
My family and I love this place. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. Pastries are the obvious draw card, but their chicken pie is the best I have had.
Visited this cute little cafe last week, what a great atmosphere! Waitress was lovely, food was fresh and tasty and music was super funky. Would definitely recommend!
Recently this Cafe changed hands. The food is still exactly the same (amazingly delicious - especially the sweet treats!) The service is super friendly and attentive. I'd highly recommend it!
I was pleased to see that Cancan opens at half 8, which lets me stop by right after doing a school drop off. It's a lovely pleasure to unwind with a coffee and a pain au chocolat. It must be made clear that there's a magic involved in a croissant that is both firm and soft at the same time.
Lovely to be greeted with "Bonjour". A small, but lovely selection of pastries and reasonable coffee. One of my fav Newtown cafes.
Stunning & delicious. Quality is superb - every purchase is tantalising for the taste buds. Friends travel far to enjoy such delicacies.
Love their cakes -- the pear cake is quite unique and very tasty!
Great pastries, and coffee. Top recommended is the Pear Danish
Quaint and quite cute, maybe some French Music just for ambiance, nice Croissant and coffee too and a Wonderful little place to sit back and relax
Croissants as good as in France
OMG, if you haven't tried their apple with spice slice or custard slice, your missing out on a lot, still making my way through all the food on offer, 10/10, I go there two times a week,
