A great dining place with view of the past. The St George platter was good in size for sharing. The loaded wedges, scotch fillet, sticky asian glazed chicken, and korean style ribs tasted great and cooked perfectly. Each meal were decent portion. We left the place smiling. As the place is in the city, you need to pay for your parking if you are driving.

Kelly, annie and Olivia were such great bartenders. They were so helpful and worked extremely hard. They went above and beyond to get the job done. And because of them would come again and again. Defo recommend them as workers and should be given a pay rise.

Just stopped in for a beer after a game of golf, great relaxing establishment with a range of craft beers on tap. A bit pricey but pretty standard amongst wellington establishments. Good, not great. 4 stars

Great service! Jenny is primo, literally will go above and beyond to make sure your experience is top tier. Jenny made sure music was playing out in the vaping area which was an added extra that I did not expect but I appreciated very much! Leshgoooo!!!

The St. George has a pleasant ambience and friendly staff. It was very quiet on Friday night which suited my friends and I wanting to escape the noise and drama of Wellington's other drinking establishments.<br/><br/>The waffle fries were very filling and provided an interesting novelty item. However, the bread and dips felt very overpriced for $7 (six tiny pieces of bread, pesto and olive oil). <br/><br/>I would definitely come back to this watering hole, delightfully inoffensive.

A very gloomy and shady place. Drunk people at 4 pm staring at you or invading your private space. Had to wait a serious 6 minutes to get my pint served, because the waiter had trouble to actually sirve it properly.<br/>Not such a good experience, location is good. And despite their poor service the staff seemed nice.

Attended The George for the first time ever last night, I have to say thats best quality service ever. Friendly always smiling and delivering excellent customer service to its max. Thanks to the staff a the George you guys are amazing you set a warm welcoming environment. I have been to many bars where the staff don't acknowledge you, don't make eye contact with you and seem unfriendly. <br/>THANKS GUYS highly recommend your establishment for future events. <br/>Awesome experience.
