Quite like this place. The food is wholesome and well made. The environment is homely. The service is friendly. A little bit of touching up needed on the upholstery and this place would be perfect. I'll keep going back
Always great coffee, the food is outstanding, and always get great service. Plenty of seating both inside and out, plus good cover outside if it's raining. Well worth popping in if you're nearby
Rise is styled in an industrial fashion with polished concrete floors, exposed fittings and plastic chairs. The splashes of colour help soften this look that on the whole is quite attractive. However, the hard surfaces do tend to reflect sound making it quite noisy even when the cafe isn't full. I h
Nice cheese scone and a good flat white here. Good atmosphere and quit big. Could be a bit dingy on a dark day as it is tucked under a building.

Friendly team , great coffee and a nice alternative too from the other noisy cafes on the Terrace, if you want to go and enjoy a coffee and check out your work emails in peace.
Furnishings very sparse but really good for having an out-of-office business meeting. Can get full and very noisey around 10am and lunchtime.
Decent coffee, but good for meetings. It's particularly nice to sit it the outdoor area in clement weather.
