Try the chicken teriyaki noodle and the teriyaki salmon. The regular portion is $10.9 and the large one is $13.9
The have quite few options for the sauce.

Can't complain at all with that fast service and plentiful options of katsu rice bowls or a la carte sushi. Made for a really quick work lunch takeaway even though there is a table or two here but nothing like a full restaurant. Everything was clean and decently organised inside

The main concerns are the place does not accept UnionPay and tofu menu is always slow. Otherwise, all good!

Great light lunches with delicious Japanese flavours, along with an extensive range of fresh sushi in the pick-and-mix cabinets. I am a fan of miso but I've been underwhelmed with the one served here. Other than that the service is friendly and fast, and I highly recommend the chicken katsu on rice with all of the salad, dressing, katsu sauce, and Japanese mayo 😋

Awesome sushis and friendly staffs. I guess is Teriyaki salmon donburi is the best here. Sushi is also good. In rush hours, queues might be a little long but bearable for nice meal for myself. One question, who is the guy in the drawing on the wall??? One of chef I guess??

I’ve had the sushi there today, which has a good range of options. Also have had the Chicken Katsu with optional sauces<br/><br/>Seating can be a bit hard to get during lunch hours, and can be packed at times.

Adore TJ Katsu's Teriyaki Tofu noddle/rice bowls. Full of taste. My only complaint is that the portions seem to have got smaller but the prices have increased. Still worth it though.

Tj Katsu is without a doubt the best sushi in Wellington. Tastey. Consistent. Scorched salmon is a big win. Great stuff! If you haven't tried them yet you really ort too.

Great selection of sushi on offer here and it makes for a very quick and easy lunch. You just grab a tray, go along the counter and take what you wish and they'll calculate at the end. It's a nice concept.

With all the competition for sushi (at least half a dozen outlets within two blocks) you have to be pretty special to do well. This place is inviting, the staff are friendly and the sushi is well presented. Reasonable range and they don't typically drown the pieces in sauces which is nice. I personally feel the sushi lacks flavour overall when compared to some other outlets and I think this comes down to the rice preparation. With all the different outlets, and this one for me being ho-hum, I think I would take a chance on another outlet before returning, but that's just personal preference.
