Wow, a genuine 5 star experience that can not be faulted. Made to feel like I belong here, and having ordered a takeaway for my wife (currently over at the hospital), had to cancel her order last minute (having ordered and paid, and got mine). It was no stress whatsoever, and the staff were SO kind and generous. Of course, the phō' was exceptional: fantastic flavors, perfect spice level (I got the spicey one), portion size, meat to noodle to soup ratio. Got to go and dine at this place!

Nice place and yummy food. For lunch, we've ordered COM grilled chicken, and Pho GA (chicken). The COM's sunny side up egg was well done and I'm not sure if there is other options available. Vietnamese condiments available on each table.

I love the pork summer rolls and the dipping sauce. Such a fresh healthy treat for lunch. The rest of the food apart from the Pho is pretty average. Awesome customer service really nice people 😊

Hello Wellington New Zealand! After a disappointing flight on Air Nz from Auckland to Wellington, we had to refocus our energy on what we came here for…some pho real chow chow! What better way to do it then at PHO VIET STREET FOOD NEWTOWN Wellington New Zealand.
Ordered the Saigon crispy spring rolls which was simply Devine! Probably the best we’ve tasted so far in Aus & Nz. Freshly made & hot to the touch.
Followed by our Pho Noodle soups! Hubby had the Pho Hai San, (prawns, squid & muscles) he also had extra meat. And I had my usual beef balls noodle soup. Beef balls & soup were excellent, however noodles were lacking the lustre texture we’re so use to. Great customer service, very quick. All in all we had a great & fulfilling meal!

Delicious Vietnamese food excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Every time I walk past this place the food smells amazing and it makes me want to go in. The Vietnamese coffee here is so good too & I highly highly recommend. When you get takeaway /delivery from here everything is really securely packaged too which is important

Nice Vietnamese food. The pho tai (beef broth noodle) is my favorite as the broth is so amazing and tasty. The vegetarian noodle (pho chay) is also great as well. Big portion with affordable price. Hope they can improve their customer service.

Fresh flavours, overpowering mint flavour in the summer rolls but the dipping sauce paired well to overcome that. The pork belly was succulent and the pork skin was perfectly crisp. When ordering food inside, the place is very small and cosy but their service was fast and totally worth the wait! Overall I enjoyed their food and would love to come back!

Food was great. Busy little place, lots of takeout. We dined in. The PORK was devine, on rice with salad and side dish of soup/broth.
So, only 2 staff on.. Cook & front person. We did not get our soup, because there were no bowls avaliable. That's probs because the other tables weren't being cleared as the customers left and the bowls etc were not cleared. We eventually got the soup in the takeout containers, which was fine. Front guy just needed to get organised and do the what needed to be done..
I reconfirm, the food was GREAT.

We went there on a Monday night really not so many ppl but dishes served very slowly. Pho is the worst I’ve ever had in the town. Rice noodles were stick together you can imagine they have sitting there for quite a long time. And it doesn’t contain a standard portion of beaf meat even we ordered double meat.

Have been here twice on Dixon and have ordered the Pho Bo Dac Biet which have broken noodles. Even as a chopstick expert I struggled to finish my meal spending 30 minutes trying to find my noodles. Waiter with pink hair had a bad attitude when taking orders and for some reason the kitchen messed up our order. Twice. The table sitting next to us also had to send something back because it wasn’t what they ordered.<br/><br/>Poor service.<br/><br/>Poorer food.<br/><br/>Also their double meat is a sham. Literally got 3 meat ball slivers that couldn’t even make a whole meatball.<br/><br/>Slow service · Disappointing food · Small portions

Best pho I've found in Wellington so far. The broth is very rich you can see the giant pot of it simmering in the kitchen and the portion is very generous

Love this place! Good portion size for a good price and quality food. We ordered a Pho Thai soup noodle , and popcorn chicken.<br/><br/>The noodles were very nice and the broth was wholesome.<br/><br/>The chicken popcorn were tender with a thin coating of crunchy batter, and had a seasoning.

I've had a couple of dishes from here that were okay in the past, but today I had a broth that was about 25% fat. This is no exaggeration as it congealed in the bowl after I couldn't stomach eating it. Maybe it was a one-off but it was hugely off-putting and the broth itself was barely salty.<br/>

Excellent food for the price. The pho soup is unbelievably awesome. Tastes like there might some duck stock in it. Highly recommend this place if you are traveling and on a budget. Easy on the wallet means can go back regularly

GIANT PHO SERVINGS! Just love this place for their pho and their very generous serving size. Taste isn't compromised at all and they have all the other Vietnamese goodies like iced coffee, banh mi etc. However my only gripe is that the banh mi is a kinda average and not worth the $9. Everything else though, fantastic!
