Eva beva is a really cool place to chill with friends. The live performance of the band is damn good,i really enjoyed the drum and guitar and the band was really rocking. The place has a mixed age group of crowd and the buzz was fantastic . i believe this place is one of the best places to chill in Wellington down town.best wish for EVE BEVA keep this spirit hight .....

Didn't get to try the food but the venue is set-up in an old school parlour setting with dark dingy late-night rock bar lighting.

Has awesome staff who really supported our Afrika Bazaar Event on 22nd July 2023 when the FIFA Womens World Cup was on. The manager was really helpful and easy to work with and cant wait to bring another event there in the future.

Nice place to chill and have some drinks and a ciggie. Often have people coming in from the street to take your cigarette buds from the ashtray or ask for ciggies. But that's just that area of town. They have good happy hour specials and service is hit and miss - mostly hit though. It's a nice atmosphere and they have heaters outside. They also often have live music.

Just popped in for a beer and cocktail, but the staff members were super friendly in helping my partner in finding an ideal cocktail. Pretty chill place with heaps of daily deals across the week. Had quite a few BRB beers on tap. Cool place to come in for a drink or two.

Went here with the boyfriend looking for something quick to eat. We both got the beef burger which was $22 with chips- which was pretty steep for what you get. Also the tap beer selection could do with some work. Cool place though, atmosphere and staff are pleasant.

It’s WOAP 2018 time so tried the burger & beer match and it was fantastic 👌🏽. The service was awesome, the pl has a cool vibe. Will def be back to try other food on offer like the $1 wings and def a beer during happy hour.

Cosy warm bar in a great location, stopped in for a meal and to watch some sport, nice busy crowd and great service, the food was pretty good too. Defo recommend.

Awesome atmosphere and good seating selection. Covered front outdoor area that gets good sun. Superfood salad is amazing and actually really filling for a salad. $1 chicken wings on Thursday and good sized wings! $5 happy hour beers! Can't go wrong.

On Easter Sunday it was raining quite heavily and me and my girlfriend just wanted a short break, drink a tea and get a bit warmer again. So we decided to stop at this nice-looking bar.<br/>I know about the NZ legislation on these special holiday in regards to alcohol, and on the counter we even found a printout of the according law.<br/>So I tried to order two tea, but the guy at bar refused the order. Due to legislation we would have to dine, otherwise he would not be allowed to serve us.<br/>It was around lunch and we had late breakfast, so none of us was hungry. But even after I offered to buy some additional nachos, we were not served. The guy insisted on us buying a full meal each in order to get something (non-alcoholic) to drink or to leave.<br/>Long story short, we were denied service and sent out back to the rain. One of the worst "service" experience I've ever had in my life.

Stopped by on a Friday night for a drink- live music, great location and a nice drink menu. Didn't get the chance to try their food though. A great place for a group of friends to hangout after dinner.

Not a great experience. We went with a groupon voucher and were made to feel like cheap customers, lots of faff about what was available to us and what wasn't. I ordered the brisket which was tough and very salty with a bland mix of boiled potatoes and beans. The hotpot was ok but also quite tough meat. The service improved as the night went on and the desserts were fine. Unfortunately the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak across the table, we asked for it to be turned down and there was a temporary improvement but when the next act started it was just as bad (at 8 pm on a weeknight). I'm sure this place is great for dancing and drinking late on a Friday or Saturday night but I wouldn't go back for a meal.
