Best little bakery in this part of Wellington. Better than Nada but with a smaller range. And the custard pie is one of the best I've had anywhere. Kids love the shoestring fries too.

I would go out of my way just to come here for their awesome friendly service and amazing coffee! Having only 10 minutes to spare, staff spotted me running across the road from my parked bus and started preparing my flat white before I entered the cafe! (I had only visited for the first time earlier that day.) That is top customer service. 🏆

My husband and I had a fantastic brunch at this cafe today. The food was not only delicious but also great value. I ordered the pancakes with banana and bacon, and the pancake stack was the fluffiest I have ever seen. The bacon was crispy, and the banana added the perfect sweetness to the dish. My husband ordered the full breakfast, which was equally delicious, with perfectly poached eggs that oozed yolk when cut in half. The coffee was excellent as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a delicious and reasonably priced meal.

Ordered an Americano coffee too go with a pie. It wasn't that busy but they must have forgotten the coffee as it didn't arrive until I asked twice and had already finished the pie. To their credit they did give me a voucher for a free coffee next time.

The bakery punches well above it's weight with excellent pies, from the standard mince and cheese through to vege or chicken.
Sweet treats are a little person favourite, especially the biscuits.
Reasonably priced, in fact, you'd be hard pressed to go past the shoestring fries which feel like they're charging 2002 prices. Crispy, fresh and excellent. Remember the chicken salt.

The best classic kiwi bakery/cafe in this area. Steak and cheese pie was perfect and fries were so good and cheap for a huge bowl. My partner ordered the classic kiwi breakfast and it was just what you would want also coffee was 10/10.

Delicious and wide select of pastries, desserts and savory options. It will take me some time to eat through all the options I want to try here. Flat whites are decent here. There are a couple of tables outside as well as a patio area heading the shops and a few more inside if you want to dine in. We ordered at the counter and food and drink was delivered to our table with a smile. We will be going back here quite often.

Bought a mince pie for my lunch today, and have to say it ranks amongst the best I’ve had in quite some time. Pastry not to thick, filled to the brim with mince and the gravy was just the right consistency. Highly recommend.

Very cute and friendly Cafe in the middle of Khandallah! Seconding the delicious cheesecake, potato top pies and cabinet food. The staff are all happy to be there and would run to the front to open doors for mums with prams.

Best baked cheesecake I've ever had. Berry cheese cake is pretty good too. Coffee isn't to bad either. Staff are friendly. Front of house guy has a sense of humor.

Great classic Kiwi café in the heart of the Khandallah township, The Parson's Nose does great pies and sweets.<br/><br/>We had an apple danish, chocolate brownie slice, and a potato top steak pie. Glazed with an enticing shine, the apple danish was fluffy on the outside with a nice amount of crushed apples. The brownie had a packed flavour without being overly sweet.<br/><br/>However, the favourite was the potato top steak pie, a choice which most thought was long lost as it's been awhile since a bakery had been brave/ bold enough to engineer the addition of creamy potato goodness onto a steak pie. Just the right amount of steak with a nice sauce, the pie was fulfilling and delicious.<br/><br/>Showstopper: Potato Top Steak Pie<br/><br/>Overall Grade: B

Pleasant enough cafe in khandallah village. Standard range of cabinet muffins, scones etc and a range of glad-wrapped sandwiches. The coffee is reasonably good. Clean, small and seemed to be well patronised. Very pleasant couple who run the business. Probably the pick of the village cafes. Some serious competition in Boxhill though, suggesting an notch upmarket might be a good idea.

Had coffee/snacks a few times but they were pretty average.<br/><br/>Recently grabbed lunch on the move and although selection was good I was sorely disappointed to discover not 1 but 4 hairs in my sandwich! Not good, no no no. Still sick thinking about it.
