Penny's - Wellington - Photo album

Best of everything in Karori and that’s just the service. Warm and witty conversations. The food is probably the best kept secret in Wellington:-)
I was looking for delicious treats for a family morning tea when I wandered into Penny's, and had all my bakery dreams come true. Their slices are awesome, their coffee is great, and their staff are friendly and fun. I'm looking forward to stopping by for a cake fix whenever I visit Wellington.
A good quick coffee stop when you're on the go in Karori. Penny's is a Karori institution offering a generous cabinet of filled sandwiches, pies, and savoury slices. For those with a sweet tooth, a separate cabinet full of sugary delights will entice. Penny's also features a range of pre packaged he
Counter full of delicious food, warm friendly welcome just what you need on a cold winter morning , coffee was great , thanks!
5/5 food, lovely service. Something for everyone (GF, V etc) A must if you're travelling through Karori. Wish there was an outdoor seating option, as I'd love to dine in! Can't recommend more :)
Great coffee and croissant cake, lovely staff will be back
Brilliant quick bites and some of the best coffee in town. Takeaway only - so it's perfect for on the run healthy, homemade food. I stock up on Penny's soups too, they are easily frozen and again make a healthy meal for 2 - just add bread! The staff are great too. 👌😋🍴🍵👍
Delicious food, coffee and treats!
Amazing food. With a great range of vegan and gluten free goodies. Big Freezers with a selection of take home meals of all types. Best of all, some of the friendliest service in Wellington. Great owner and staff always make an effort to know customers. Would give 6 out of 5 if I could.
Really good coffee and cake was delicious. We also tried a beef and mushroom pie and didn't like it, the meat was too ground up like it had been finely minced, took the mushroom out and the dog ate it.
I have been going to Penny's Bakery since 2012 when I started university and lived close by at Helen Lowry Hall. I still continue to go Penny's now having finished my studies almost 10 years later. Lovely staff, delicious food. The breakfast panini is out of this world.
Pie warmer was empty. Quote owner: 'sorry, I can't heat pies fast enough to satisfy demand. I'll heat you up one.' couldn't wait. Ordered a sandwich. Was delicious. Ordered a spanikopita and a quiche to take home. Those were delicious too. In fact it's probably a good thing for my arteries that i li
