Had a hiccup with delivered pizza's a while back but manager offered to replace - so we took him up on the offer! Tasty as - the base is good enough to eat on it's own ! Bonus points for rectifying issue 😁

Love this place. It reminds me of my teenage years. Perfect low key venue to meet after work and in the weekend for some life music. Never too full and great beers on tap. Amazing prizes for Kai is a bonus! Cheers for putting so much effort into this venue!

Great pizza with a good mixture of beer. But best of all, the bar reflects and enhances the vibrant and interesting place that Newtown is. Get there early and grab the moon table by the window.

Came here for some late night drinks, the music was too loud and didn’t suit the bar very much. Though the staff were lovely and drinks were nice. Still a good place to have a drink at!

This was a surprise. We have chosen a hotdog from the Hobdog event. I have not expected such an interesting place with that flair. I have not expected that quality food at all. The hotdog was really nice. And the selection of drinks available incl non alcoholic ones is really good. Wil lol come back for sure.

I have been visiting Moon 1 regularly for close to eight weeks, in order to take part in the Tuesday night jam session. It has been thoroughly enjoyable, and it now plays an important part in my weekly schedule! I only wish some of the guys would be nicer to my amplifier? This is the best music-orientated session that I have attended for many years. Also, the chilled water is very refreshing, and of course it's also FREE! Best Wishes from Chris Marshall.

Nice drinks and setting but having a deejay on a Wednesday night seemed unnecessary. We only stayed for one drink but went down the road to have dinner because the music was too loud to stay any longer.

The Moon, as usual, stood up to the challenge (jovial moods, dressed up some, and plenty of smiles ;-); initially, I though, the patronage was a bit slim but by Terror of the Deep it sure picked up; I personally loved Zillions' gig under a moniker Zills this time, the Mini Moog sounded cool (defo not dated ;-) and Julian can rap! - well done Moon and guests!

The staff member who used the pinball machine during the set of a young comic was awesome. I really enjoyed the way he completely disregarded the show, and all her hard work preparing for her set by not playing pinball in the 20 minute break we had just come out of and instead waiting for just the worst moment. Everyone in the crowd really enjoyed listening to him getting a high score. What a champ. UPDATE: Second gig I went to there was great, no one used the pinball machine. Yay.
