Best cyberpunk bar I've been to yet! Just a fun fun place to go. Both craft beers and expert cocktails on offer. The snacks are also very creative and just delicious - the mixed sliders and deviled eggs were unexpected hits. Go here, watch sci-fi on the big screen or just cosplay as an intergalactic bounty hunter 😁

Pretty cool place, different from any other bars in Wellington and doesn't get too busy. Also has old Nintendo games to play. Would get five stars if it was a bit cleaner.

I had the most bodacious experience at this bar!!! I just went to catch up with friends and ended up singing my heart out to bohemian rhapsody with the owner/landlady who was more than happy to fill me in on the many questions I had about the decor. I think I have found my go to bar in town. Super highly rated!!!

This place is worth visiting. Great sci-fi ambience and lovely staff. However, some of the cocktails are a bit gross, and I don't like how the food is served out of metal trays.

PhotonFlux is hard to describe, you need to go and see for yourself. It's one of my favorite places in Wellington, I'm just happy being there. Love the Nintendo and Pinball machines, Dr Who TARDIS, 5the element mural, painted Nerf guns, movie seats, ...and the people are awesome AND there's dogs

Coolest little spot in Wellington. Fun games great drink selection and delicious foods. Staff is super friendly with lots of personality. 10/10 would recommend.

Sci-fi themed! This place has a nice vibe. It had board games if you want to have a game. I went there Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy. I'd like to see it at night.

One of a kind, a sci-fi themed bar in Wellington! Like stepping into another dimension - as you enter you're immediately surrounded by eye-popping visuals straight out of the film set. Delicious "Flux buns" are teleported care of the in-house "galactic food truck", complemented by an eclectic range of tap beer. A must see in Wellington.

How postmodern is PhotonFlux! South-African favourites are served in a post apocalyptic setting amongst retro sci-fi props and posters from yesteryear. For drinks, choose some of Wellington’s finest Craft beers! My mother and I were very impressed with the warm hospitality we received from Nina and the team. We had Vetkoek (a traditional South African fried dough bread) served with pampoenkoekkies (South African pumpkin fritters). PhotonFlux is definitely worth a visit and a must visit for Sci-Fi geeks old and young.
