Grew up getting fish and chips from here, there has been a few times where the fish was not too great but most of the times I am very pleased with what I receive, I always go back.
The best chicken burger around! Fast and friendly service. They're my local and I couldn't be happier about that. They know my order now, and I'm greeted by name ☺️
Have been up a couple of times after hearing good things. Went for my regular test order, Fish, sausage, hot dog and chips. All cooked well(sausage skin still intact, tricky for some)and enough chips to leave me full with a few to spare. Even managed to park by the door on a Friday night too(lots of "walk ins")
Stopped at Brooklyn Supply for take away fish and chips. People were very nice. We ordered the family pack which is 6 pieces of fish and 2 1/2 orders of fries. The serving size was very fair and the fish and chips were good. London spoiled me on fish and chips but these were good and weren't uber oily. The price was $25nzd which is very fair. They also have Chinese food which I will be back to try. Definitely worth a stop.
Really nice people and great burgers. We just popped in on our way home and are always trying to plan a time to go back. Chinese food looks good too but we just got the chip and amazing burgers
This is our local fish and chip shop. We live in aro but prefer to make the trip up the hill - cheaper and better quality ingredients. Burgers are awesome, proper lettuce, onion, tomato, beetroot filling which is nice to see compared to some of the pre made coleslaw fillings in burgers elsewhere. Would highly recommend the sugared donuts for a late night sweet treat!
Getting fish and chip in Brooklyn them this is the place to go. The chips are amazing, some of the best I've had and always consistent. Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, just what you want from a hot chip. I can also recommend the corn fritter. Delicious!
Have eaten here numerous times times now, chips are good, fish are good, burgers are good. Its all good! you cant go wrong with the fish burger

Fish was blue Warehou. The flesh was clean and tasty but of a small size in respect to price and what I’ve had elsewhere. The batter had a good crunch to it but held the oil to well which gave the fillet a greasy finish.
The paua fritter was delicious and packed with a lot of small chunks of paua and a nice balance of onion. The batter was thinner than the fish and didn’t hold too much oil.
The chips were decent, cooked well with a nice tan and soft inner.
I was told by the guy serving me that they use “real paua” to justify the price tag. 🤔
Definitely spenny for a chippy and won’t be going back there unless I win Lotto.
Excellent classic New Zealand takeaways, including all types of burgers WITH beetroot. Hard to find in the City these days! The chips were about the best I’ve had in Wellington- nice and crispy.
Great service, fast and scrummy yummy food! I recommend this place to any locals and anybody looking for food! This is the combination chow mein!! So many vegetables, lots of meat! So combination lol, loved it a lot
we are new to brooklyn area i must say food is good. its bit pricey but still good. Yous may need to update your menus, cause on the menu here chicken nuggets and chips are 11.90 i went to pay for it personally and he said 12.90 i did say you may need to update the menu cause its misleading.

friendly and fast service. the burgers are nice but not the greatest better than most fish n chip shop burgers tho, the burgers could do with more sauce. the chips are nice and crunchy not soggy which is a plus but i would like to see a home cut style option. the potato fritters have a great potato to batter ratio. the fish is smaller than average but it makes up for length in thickness.

This is the best fish n chip shop in Wellington, maybe the whole of the north island. The customer service is impeccable, the food amazing and the prices fair, the lad who is usually behind the counter has great manners. big ups the mandem!
Yum! I finally tried the cheese burger from this place really good! $8.50 so was doubtful but so so good with beetroot as well! Very well made :)
