Black Coffee - Wellington - Photo album

The only reason I’m giving this space 4/5 stars is because I wish there was a variety in drink sizes. My partner and I ordered flat whites today and they were well made. I appreciate that they offer decaf as an option. Our baristas were kind and I love the grungy atmosphere/decor. We spent ~$12.
Black coffee is the best coffee shop in Wellington. Amazing coffee every visit, gluten free options, dog friendly and a wide variety of music to set the vibe. All staff I have encountered give thoughtful and warm service. This is a must visit destination.
Best soy milk coffee I’ve had. It was perfectly steamed. I could not tell the difference between the creaminess of the soy milk compared to regular milk. Excellent experience. Thanks 😊
Hanging out for a decent coffee, so we thought we would try Black Coffee. Coffee arrived with a smile, and Yes!!!! they know how to make a great coffee. Thank you ladies!!
Super friendly people, make a great coffee, it’s great to have such awesome coffee cafe in Newtown.
Great toasties...great home made crumpets. Awesome coffee..Artwork.
Classic Wellington cafe, super cool vibe great food awesome coffee combined with great service … 5 stars
Came here during the Newtown Festival. It was packed! But that didn’t lower the quality or service. The kids enjoyed their spiders and my latte was great. Recommended.
cute vibe with changing art exhibitions that are really cool. the food and coffee can't be argued with
Very friendly service, great coffee, and cool vibes!
Staff very friendly, great music. Quirky atmosphere.
Great local atmosphere here & fresh art for sale on display. A little on the pricey side - a flat white, large soy latte & a brownie came to $19. Was made up for by the presence of a gorgeous white wolf like dog which was awesome to pat. Fully recommend a coffee, a at & a chat 🤗🐺🍰☕️🫖🖼
Pretty awesome place. Tasty coffee, and TASTY toasted sandwiches with gluten free and vegan cheese options.
When you see “tradies” reading the paper next to people working on laptops you know the coffee is good and the food is too. Enjoy the toasties (gluten free available) and if you don’t drink coffee, (I don’t) the lemon, ginger and honey (with cloves added) is delicious. But almost best of all; a pin
It's one of the nice cafe in Newton
Really like stopping in for a morning coffee. Staff are friendly and the coffees great!
Didn't eat only coffee, but good coffee and good service
Lovely coffee, but the top price scone was forgotten and left in the press for so long it was impressively hard. There was a nice apology on delivery, but the waiter really must have known it was not fit to serve. A requested replacement was so lightly toasted it had cold areas. I felt unable to com
