Had the best steak and cheese pie. Big chunks of beautifully cooked meat.

Loved the bakery smell I’ve been missing in NZ!
The Brezeln were delicious and so were the bread rolls (Brötchen) the girl behind the counter was incredibly friendly and not at all judgemental when we basically emptied the store 😅
10/10 would recommend!!!!

Bought the rye and cumin sourdough this morning, it was the last one which is always a good sign. Truly the best bread I’ve ever eaten and will definitely become a staple! Service was great, as per.

My local bakery in Kelburn.
*The ciabatta is superb, good crust and chewy. It lasts a few days and great toasted.
*Pies are deep with good pastry and generous fillings.
*Salted caramel eclair is lovely if you're there early enough before they sell out!
*Chocolate brownie was not chocolatey enough to cut thru the sweetness.
*Swiss nut slice is devine; lots of nuts held together in a yummy caramel on a shortcake base.
*Cumin & Rye sourdough is crazy good. Try it with a good quality peanut butter (Fix & Fogg's everything butter) and it really is next level, bangingly good.
*Chilli cheese cornbread makes the best toasted sandwich.

Whenever I take the bus to go to the office or pick up the kid, I pass this bakery!
A gem in Kelburn village and you should try the croissants, cheese pretzels, bagel, quiche and sourdough! They are my favorite!
They also have more pastries, loaves of bread and more. They are madely fresh so they certainly taste wonderful.
The bakery also serves hot drinks and cold ones, like flat white, coffee and hot chocolate.
The staff is always cheerful and helpfull

We love Brezelmania. Excellent bread options. Excellent pies and rolls. And the Swiss Nut Slice is a favourite. Great also for filled rolls. And coffee available. Interesting people work there.

Fantastic little local bakery! Far too many tempting options to choose from, but all of them reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, and served with a smile. They clearly have a good sense of humour too, as proved by the chalkboard warning of possible bears beyond the shop doorway. Pity I live on the opposite side of the world, or I'd be in here more often. Recommended!

I live in Kelburn and frequent and am pleased to recomend the Kelburn Brezelmania.

One of my favourites are their quiches. Really handy if you have to "take a plate", or are having people for lunch and need something easy to serve.

Their pies are excellent. My favourites are the potatoe top pie, which is rich with mince; and the steak and mushroom. Double check it is heated through.

They have a great selection of sweet treats and a wide range of breads. Their seasonal easter buns and Christmas mince pies are also excellent.

Prices are competitive. Generally easy to get parking right outside.

They are consistently busy with lots of tradesmen picking up their lunch there.

They take Credit Cards, and have the tap and go technology. Definitely recomend.

Absolutely horrible customer service experience at the Kelburn bakery today. My partner and I were yelled at by the old lady (who wasn't even serving us) working there because we asked if we could have a bit of cream in our coffee (which they didn't have, no worries). Completely the wrong way to talk to your customers! And we weren't the only ones, she snapped at the poor guy buying a pie before us and had an ugly, sultry look on her face the whole time we were there. I felt really sorry for the poor girl working next to her who was trying to keep upbeat and calm. We won't be returning and I'll be sure to let others know how they can expect to be served if they ever come in here. Disgusting behaviour from someone relying on customers to pay their business bills!

Bought a steak and mushroom pie this morning. Pastry was great, and there was a decent amount of steak (although it could have done with a little more mushroom). Unfortunately it was too salty, which detracted from the taste of the pie overall. I might go back next time I'm in the area, but if I buy a pie and its salty again, I won't be returning.

Got a muffin from the kilbirnie store today, started eating it and CRUNCH!!! Massive piece of eggshell. Gross. Will not be eating anything from there again, I'm so put off!
Went to the kilbirnie shop this morning, brought two rolls and a coffee. After two bites, sadly we found mud on the lectures in one of the roll. We return it to the shop and get it refunded. Staffs seems not so happy with that. Too bad we did not take a photo, because the staff throw away that pice muddy lectures VERY QUICK!

Service: 2 out of 5star
Staff (tall one): 1 out of 5star
Coffee: 3.5 out of 5star

My 'local' Brezelmania is the one located in the Kelburn shops. A little store selling your usual bread products, pies, sandwiches and sweet treats.

If you are looking for good Christmas mince pies this Christmas, then I would recommend their pies. Where their pastry casing is more like a shortbread than a shortcrust pastry.

Please check out my website for an indepth review of Christmas mince pies in Wellington.
