Wonderful little spot with the perfect people watching view. Amazing service, the staff are absolute gems!! Very consistent, professional, I always feel special & taken care of. The food is fabulous & just what you need to go with their incredible wine list. If you come to Wellington you must visit this place!
The staff here are so nice and very helpful! We were a party of 20 and the staff didn’t miss a beat being attentive to us all. The manager made it so easy for me to book and was accommodating of a couple of last minute changes. Thank you Amador!
Amador bar is well located in the CBD of Wellington city, but it is also quite discrete and therefore is an ideal spot for a gathering of friends. I found the internal design and layout very appealing. The food that was provided (I was there for a private function) was excellent. The staff were pleasant, professional and helpful. It's a good venue and I would definitely recommend this to others.
There's been a change in ownership here in the past few months, as the overall atmosphere is far warmer then the last time I was here, roughly a year ago; well the warm atmosphere... and the staff explaining that there was a COO. In all seriousness though, whoever the new management are seem to be making a fantastic impact on this hidden little, wine and dine.
A relaxed ambience is the first thing you notice walking in, followed by a fairly delectable menu of wines, cocktails and melt-in-your-mouth Cafe food that, when paired together, guaran(fckin)tee you have an enjoyable time.
Plus I, admittedly had to be impressed by how quickly the orders were brought out, on a Friday night.
Long story short, couldn't recommend trying it more if you're after a new spot.
Cosy little spot with great atmosphere and great food. The beef burger I had was STUNNING and Emporio coffee always goes down a treat
Central city cafe/bar that filled very quickly after opening. Shows how popular this venue is. The breakfast was filling, tasty and delivered efficiently. I was plesantly surprised with this little gem of a place. Will definitely be returning...and also trying the bar after work. A great music playlist while I was enjoying my brekky as well!
Food was delicious, extremely well priced, setting is gorgeous, music is really nice and the service is some of the best I have ever ever had.
Going to come back for sure.
Really enjoyed our drinks here, was a little quieter than most places on a Friday but that was a plus as we didn’t want to shout over one another. Staff were friendly and service was great. Would come back.
Great space and friendly staff.... best steak sandwich in town! Terrace overlooking street will be great spot on a dry day
