Best chips north of the city - but the service here is awful, and we definitely won’t be going back. One staff member in particular is extremely rude - we have tried to put up with this in order to support a local business, but ultimately it’s not worth it. Feel sorry for the owner(s), as I’m not sure they realise that the person they’ve got running their store has the most appalling customer service skills I’ve ever encountered. Would gladly return if there was a change in personnel.

Constantly getting our orders wrong. And when our last order was wrong & the owner admitted he had made a mistake, he yelled at me & told me to not come back again. If you call and place an order make sure you check it before you leave the shops to make sure it’s correct. Terrible customer service.

Went there for lunch today<br/>Ordered 1 chip and 3 fish for 3 people and was pleasantly surprised. Portions were great and everything was nice and crisp and well seasoned.<br/>One downside was that everything had an unpleasant greasy after taste<br/>

Probably the worst fish<br/>& chips in Wellington, ordered crumbed Terakihi, tried to palm off their<br/>regular fish as Terakihi, asked for no salt to be added, added salt then was re<br/>dipped in in the fryer to get rid of the salt, packed it oily as ever, after<br/>that will never go back.

Appalling quality. Fatty chips, no meat in the calamari rings and the fish had bones. We couldn't eat half of the meal - it's gone to feed the local birds. Really disappointed.

Been here several times for fish & chips. Found it to be inconsistent. Sometimes good. Sometimes average with hard crunchy chips that leave your mouth raw. On one occassion I ordered a burger which was below average. I asked if it came with onions. 'Yes it did'. I thought this meant cooked onions (I should have clarified though) but instead it was one small ring of raw red onion and far too much lettuce. To be fair, we have had a couple of nice take always here and its always busy, however, we prefer Johnsonville Fish Supply up the road which has always been consistently good.
