My sister and I have been here a few times and it never ceases to amaze us that the quality remains so that this is our regular place to have curry. My lil sister and I decided to bring Mum with us for an early tea to see you Curry Leaf in Johnsonville. Our mum who only has butter chicken from food courts at different malls, and 1 other Indian restaurant, was blown away by the deliciousness of the different curries done exactly to her mild taste for curry. She said the starters were tasty, also saying that she really liked the decor and the peaceful feel about your place. Thank you Curry Leaf See you soon 😄😁😊

One of the best we have ever experienced. Incredible service and really wonderful food. We’ve been searching for a place that does what we are used to from Durban South Africa and we loved it! Makes us feel right at home. Good flavours and option to add more heat! Everyone was friendly and warm and it was just such a treat!

Great seating, lovely service and wonderful food. Try paneer pakoda here and cheese chilli naan. Good place to go with family and friends. Parking can be done close to Johnsonville market. There are couple off Street parking for 60 mins

Probably my fave butter chicken I’ve had in such a long time!!!! Was my first time having it and definitely will be back for more! The variety of naan bread is also so cool!!!!! Tried the roti and didn’t disappoint!.

The new owner was still setting up 2 weeks in so they needed some more decor to set the atmosphere but the host was friendly and the food was beautifully fresh, one of the better Naan I have had. Once they have their menu set they will be sorted. If your in the vicinity and want something nicer than the standard fast food, the prices will suit.

I took a punt at hoping the new restaurant food would be better than the previous place, and it paid off because this is really delicious and the dishes are well apportioned. We did takeout butter chicken and Jalfrezi. Medium dishes were good spice heat, and the mild was enjoyed by my 2 year old, which is a really good sign! Breads (onion kulcha and garlic naan) nice and soft. I’m definitely supporting this restaurant again as it’s been quite a few years since getting decent tasting curry around here.

First time but not the last. Excellent food. Naan bread was awesome. Great curries and the starters we're exceptional. Good mango lassi too. Overall the best South Indian food in Wellington. Well worth a try and nice staff too.
