We’ve always loved El Barrio and first came when the current 2IC (Kate) started and told us how cool it was. Came again tonight (28.11.23) and was served by Freya who was amazing at her job and was helping us chose what to eat. My partner ordered the Pork Adobo Tacos, and it’s important to note that he is also a chef and a very harsh food critic. That being said, he gave the food a 10/10 (unheard of!), and Freya gave us the opportunity to thank the chef, (Arlo?) himself. I got the Nopales Tacos which were also good. We also had a few drinks due to the $13 cocktail special, my partner getting a Passionfruit Caprioska and me getting a rosé, both also delicious.
TLDR, the staff (especially Kate and Freya) are amazing, the food is amazing, and the drinks are great too. Definitely recommend. Will be back!

This is a great little bar that hosts a fun language exchange event on Thursdays. The music is a bit loud for people to speak a language they're still learning but the staff are kind and helpful. Drinks are well priced and they have a variety of options. Definitely recommend checking it out on a Thursday when everything else is quiet.

Cocktails and mocktails were great and the food tasted amazing too. Portions were a bit small for the price but still really good deals. Toilets were tiny.

As so often way too noisy to be to my liking. When we first arrived one could actually still talk (not having to yell) and understand each other, and I thought that's not too bad. But then they suddenly cranked up the volume mid-song and it was all over.
The food was different from standard bar fare, which made for a nice change.
The price for beverages is IMHO crazy high.

We had a great evening with my friends out. Baby shower Inc dinner and some drinks. The place is very cosy and the staff members are very friendly and welcoming. The food was very average, not enough for me and my friends. I hope they will improve on the size of the meals. Next topic, I still recommend this place to visit. Cheers.

Didn't get a chance to try the food but the staff are friendly and welcoming and down for a chat, the venue itself can be intimate and family friendly during the afternoon; I expect it becomes a riot in the evening when the kids have gone to bed 👌

Our experience was amazing here. We enjoyed everything about El Barrio's. The kids felt like they were in enchanto. The service was second to none, and so was the food and drinks 🙌 would recommend this place to everyone.

Great cocktails at extremely reasonable prices for Welling town! Split a sangria jug if you’re feeling social, or stick a straw in it if you’re feeling economical. Music was lit af! Absolute fire coming from the both, was very Burna Boy vibes. Happy people and just great energy all round
