Didn't get to try their winning burger last year and this was my first time eating their offering. The price was on the high side and note if you order the butter chicken, do not expect it to be the normal butter chicken with rice portion, they said the butter chicken was one of their best dishes bu
We ordered several dishes amongst 5 people and every one was amazing. We even got to try the award winning jackfruit burger, which was really good! They also have a decent beer selection including the beer that was made as a prize for the burger competition. The design and atmosphere of the restaura
This is a fantastic chat place right in the middle of the city. The ambiance is chic and the Aaloo Tikki chat took me back to my childhood. By far the best tasting street food that is super authentic and lip smackingly delicious 😋 a sure shot visit if you are in Wellington!!!
Lovely place. Many seats even for big groups. The rustic place is somewhat an irony to the Indian cuisine. However, I like the atmosphere Servings are smaller but well-presented. We tried the fish kathi, rajma and chole bhature and they were all tasty. This is also a drinking place with alcoholic
Absolutely delicious food! We tried several dishes and every single one was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant. I would suggest getting multiple dishes to try different flavors. Also, the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly.
Staffs are extremely accommodated - restaurant always packed - recommended booking in advance.
Loved dining in here last week. Food isn't cheap but very tasty. Service was quick, particularly the tall Caucasian guy who served us was very knowledgeable about the menu, very attentative, helpful and friendly. Made the experience more enjoyable. Food came out in minutes and was very flavourful. W
Food is really yum and for central cbd prices are as expected $$$. I’m not really into tapas sharing style though as my friend is vegan and I’m not so makes it a little awkward. Tables are quite small for sharing as well so bit awkward lots of reaching over and lots of moving glasses etc off tables.
Food was really authentic 1st time I had such a great experience in Wellington Indian food the Indian way Was delicious I ordered poori aloo Chole bhature It made me remind my home authentic Delhi style north Indian food Wow guys keep it up
I'm writing a biased feedback here being an Indian myself. This restaurant is only Wellington good at best. Could be better with a little more items on the menu and improvements in some dishes.
Great place to try some niche indian food. Liked the presentation. It on the pricier side but it worth for the quality products they use.
Highly recommend. For me, this was the best Indian cuisine I have had in a very long time. Evert dish I had was different in its uniquely delightful flavours. The staff and service were great, friendly and well informed regarding the dishes. I left feeling like it was a pleasure for someone to cook
This restaurant is a must-visit in Wellington! Incredible food, I've had the pleasure of visiting 4 times within the last month and every time has been equally as enjoyable. Also a special mention of their fantastic Wellington on a Plate burger entry for 2022 - it was my personal favourite this ye
Yep - been looking forward to this … not disappointed. Small plates - hoovered up to just the right amount. No curries - just stunning food with little wait time.
As of my visit Chaat Street was only 5 months old so they have a few service level kinks to work out. I ordered a Phoenix cola from Auckland, chicken Tikka Chaat and a bhatura which a fluffy deep-fried leavened bread. Chicken was good. Not sure about the raw onions and lemon wedge. If I hadn't orde
