Review J's Cafe - Westport

Early start for work & visited with work colleague. My coffee was great & corn fritters the best I've ever had! Light fritters with avo, relish, bacon & sour cream. Cooked to perfection. Workmate had a omelet which she said was delicious & a Beetroot, apple & Celery juice was amazing. Friendly service. 💯 would go back.

Such lovely service! I had the Works Benne for 20.00. The eggs were perfectly cooked, not see through and not over done. The bacon was crunchy and everything else was perfect! The French toast was wonderful, although my brother had ordered without cream cheese and I thought this would have brung such a lovely texture and flavour to the dish! Otherwise it was another 10 out of 10! Coffee beans were wonderful as well!

This mōrena finds me at #jscafe Westport. What a lovely place, big and lots off room, outdoor seating as well. Service was outstanding and the kai and kāwhe just as ka pai along with the smoothie and juice. Definitely a place to call at anytime for delicious kai and ka pai kāwhe.

Nice place. Food was good. Coffee was excellent. Fantastic art work on the walls gave the place a really nice feel.

I was really impressed to find a delicious vegan breakfast in Westport, kudos for having this on your menu and making it well. I don't often care for polenta but this one was super tasty and made a great addition to the breakfast.

This place is honestly the best place I've ever been to for breakfast! Very generous is an understatement. Friendly staff and awesome coffee 🤗 totally recommend anyone to check it out. Dan - Nelson

Best seafood chowder on the west coast! And good coffee. Wheelchair and mobility access easy. Spacious seating, quick service.

Went for lunch fantastic cheese burger and fries, fast service,nice quiet place to eat.

The best coffee that I've had in NZ and the big breakfast was great too. They had a fabulous selection of baked goods in the counter cabinet look so good that i wished i was still there for lunch.

First coffee back in level 2. Was worth the wait. Great scones, lovely staff. Was going to return for lunch but the trip to Karamea took longer than anticipated. Breakfast on the menu today 😋

Visited J's today for a coffee while the rain decided to dump down on Westport. The coffee was great. The cherry and almond slice was to die for! The toughest thing today was devoting what to order as the cabinet was packed with so many options I wanted to try them all. The service was brilliant with a super friendly waitress who was also quick to serve. I lived the feel of the little cafe with large art pieces all around. The menu looked good but alas that must be for another time. Can't wait to come back and try more.
