Review Kopeo Indian Restaurant, Bar & Takeaway - Whakatane

The food was really good. I was left satisfied at the end of the meal. The excellent blend of spices mixed, rich and savoury gravies and the flavor of the aloo naan bread will leave you really pleased. Looking forward to stopping by this restaurant again.

Had a shared platter, scallops, chicken methi, lamb Rogan josh and garlic naan. The food was delicious and took hardly any time to come out. Great service and very reasonably priced.

As a major fan of indian food, i have visited many Indian restaurants and can now say that the food served at this venue, is by far the nicest, tastiest and most reasonably priced that i have had the pleasure to enjoy. Service was amazing from the most amiable front of house staff member. I am about to book for tonight's evening meal. Highly recommended.

Hadn't been here for about3 years. We had our Probus lunch there and we were all impressed with the food. Service was slow but we were all served at the same time. I will be going back soon. The 2nd best Sagwala I have had. The lamb was tender too.

Ordered the Butter Chicken. It tasted very good, good quality and lots of chicken in mine. The naaan bread was freshly made and very hot! Lasted me two meals so a very sufficient meal for two! I would be keen to try out their other stuff that other shops don’t offer like the squid and the goat

We love Indian and always try a new restaurant. The young man who served us was great. We certainly are not dissatisfied it was a beautiful meal. Lamb Kopeo special and lamb Madras the meat was beautiful tender and just melted in your mouth. The Naan bread was delicious the only thing the garlic Naan wasn't very garlicy. We will be back maybe dine in next time 🙂

Highly recommend the potato roti. always have a good feed here their prices stayed down while everyone elses went up. Best bang for your buck here

After the rude experience at Popsies Indian restaurant we came here for dinner. Great service and great food. For entree we had spicy paneer, yum! We will definitely go back for more. The Chicken Kadai is delicious and so is the Lamb Madras. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely dinner 😊.

Very tasty and large servings. Very happy with the flavours although I like things a bit spicier so asked for more chili with my vindaloo which they promptly bought to the table. A decent selection of wines also. Will be back and can recommend

This restaurant simply has the best Indian food in town. Hands down !! We went a couple of weeks ago, the interior of the restaurant has been updated and freshened up since our last visit, looks great. But the food, oh my goodness, it is SO good. Always is. I wanted to leave a review on Facebook but couldn't, and am so glad I have found this so I can. And the reason I found this,..?.. because I wanted to see what the opening hours are during the day to be able to get lunch for myself and friends tomorrow. Highly recommend.

Told about this place, decided to try it. No regrets, the buttered chicken and rice soooo good... tender chicken, soft fluffy rice and the mild sauce yum. Loved it

Whenever we visit friends in Whakatane we love having takeaways from here, consistently beautiful indian food. Today we needed to dine out after a fruneral and couldn't resist dinning in and their vegitarian banquet was devine. Front of house so welcoming and attentive, great value for money and such tasty, flavorsome, delicious dishes.
