Great selection of food, the eggs benedict is my favorite meal here. Always cooked to perfection. The drinks are always made perfectly too and great sizes.
Everything is well priced and the service is very good.
The booth chairs could do with an upgrade though as they are cracked and peeling and can be uncomfortable if you are wearing shorts.
Aside from that it's an excellent place to eat.

My darling and myself absolutely love the food here at this Bakehouse. The service is also on point. Everyone of Kims customers are treated fairly and kindly, and for those who regularly dine here, Kim acknowledges each one of us. Thumbs up Kimi. And the new look...woop woop!! Yeaaa boi, bakehouse food!, apple and cream donut, bacon and egg muffin! Recently had renovations done feels a lot "cleaner" now, perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat.
The pies are OK, bit too high of the gravey to meat ratio and the quiches are not as good as the other whakatane bakehouse.
But definitely nothing terrible here that you should shy away from.
