Review Baxters - Whakatane

UPDATE 02/2022: Changed my rating to a well deserved 5 stars because of my most recent experience. Excellent service and the breakfast crossiant and whittakers brownie were to die for. I thought the prices were sky high...that tiny sausage you see on the photo is $4.00 each and eggs were more than $2 each...caught me by surprise as the extras are not priced on their board... However all is not bad as the creamy mushie toast was quite enjoyable to eat. Compliment to your cook/chef

Very cosy and comfortable place to have a nice hot cup of coffee and get ready to get your day started. If you're driving through town, it's a good place to stop by.

Beautiful food. Daughter enjoyed a sandwich and coffee, I had a pork and apple baguette. Delicious, the taste took me to Christmas. Unfortunately I'm in Auckland, so might be a while to get back.

Seriously $7 for this breakfast,always stop here for a unpretentious delicious meal.

The fried chicken burger was delicious, so were the hot cakes stack. The muffins and biscuits I had from the counter were a bit bland and dry. Love the new (ish) makeover. Place looks very clean

We were the first customers of the day. We were greeted with warm 'Good morning Ladies' and served with a smile. Yummy food. The bacon was cooked perfectly, French toast was done perfectly and the hot cakes made a picky 13 year old very happy

Service was great and so was the food. Enjoyed a nice soy latte & hot chocolate with our meals.

Delicious food good portions, great service, reasonable price. Great to have an area for our kids to sit and play too. Thank you, we will be back.

Just had the most yummy warm chicken salad. And hubby a BLT. Delicious. Will come back here when in Whakatane again.
