Walked in expecting over cooked pork belly, walked out extremely happy after beautiful scallops followed by creme chicken, wow going again for sure!

Had a good meal here with the children. Kids sliders were very good. I shared the large ribs with my daughter which were yum. Staff were super nice. Wife had mussel curry, might have been better with the rice on the side. Would go again.

The service is phenomenal!! The ladies were very snap and agile when taking our orders Such a treat especially being out of town they made us feel right at home. I had a delicious Fish and Chips. Also had a nice seafood platter. If you are in town for business like me or travelling The Lincolns is a must!!!

Do not pass up on the Ribs! Recommended by the restaurant and they are completely right! Smoky, fall off the bone, tender goodness. Being from Florida, my family knows slow cooked BBQ. This is as close as I have gotten in NZ. A little more smokiness would have been nice but still delicious. Great slaw and fries to complete a real meal. The cider on tap was a great companion on a hot an muggy evening. The staff were super friendly and service was excellent.

Amazing food and service would reccomend to anyone. Steak was cooked perfectly and I could tell all other ingredients were fresh and good quality. We will definitely be returning.

I really liked the brother and sister there. The atmosphere was fantastic and I loved the way the restaurant was laid out and pricing was awesome. Every time I go to Whangamata now, I will go back to the Licoln. They also make the best coffees.

Food was reasonably priced. Waiter was SUPER attentive and helpful. Food was delicious. Live music was average. Overall, very enjoyable and would visit again :)

Food is 10/10. Drinks 10/10. Service / staff is 10/10. WiFi is 8/10. Isn't the fastest, only last for 30 minutes per code BUT they gave free codes for the entirety of my visit. If you're not an Internet fiend or a Instagram blogger this resterauts is perfect.

Nice staff, great beer. What more do you want?

Went with a group of friends and kids. The staff were welcoming and helpful with all of the kids. Very friendly and food was lovely too. Particularly very impressed with how they handled all of the kids!

As a frequent visitor to Whangamata I can always rely on The Lincoln for good cup of coffee, so by reputation they are always one of my preferred stops when I'm in the area. Today the weather was atrocious so me and my sisters found refuge here for lunch. I had the falafel and haloumi salad and found it tasty, especially with the inclusion of sultanas. There were possibly a few too many flavours going on but it gave a good twist on a conventional salad. Probably my only suggestion is to serve it in a bigger bowl (for those who like aesthetics) but apart from that is was a good lunch experience!

Our family of 5 adult dined here whilst on holiday. Overall it was a disappointing experience especially when considering the prices charged, which are way too high for what you get. Service was polite but disinterested. Wait time was far too long, especially as it was relatively empty. Meals were average to below average. No attention paid to detail at all (e.g. no water provided to the table and when my son asked if we could get some, only one glass of water was brought!)
The location itself is good and it is such a shame that more isn't done to deliver a better experience. I certainly wouldn't dine there again.

A disappointing experience. In our group the ribs and steak were great, but the specialty curry of the chef from Bali was terrible, an insipid sauce with Uncle Ben's microwave rice or similar. Perhaps the chef had returned home to Bali. The service was what spoiled the night. Starting with the waitresses 'What'd a yah want?'. And basically ignoring us the rest of the evening, on a not busy night. The explanation was that we had a trainee waitress, but there was not much training or oversight going on.

20mins for a coffee, a further 10-15 for the other 3 drinks for the table. 45 mins+ for an over cooked cold breakfast. Unimpressed.
4 meals all out at different items and all substandard. 2 out of the 4 orders were wrong. What a let down. Poached eggs shouldn't be doubled up as bouncing balls- shouldn't they be runny and not like rubber? and since when does eggs Benny have salmon with bones???? At least one eggs Benny had smoked? No consistency here. Not recommended

I Just enjoyed and laughed through another great night out at the Lincoln.. the regular Thursday quiz night is my main attraction .. I am always greeted with a cherry smile and quick service.. the food is yummy and generous.. and I like that there are frequently new things on the menu to temp.
