Nice food, prompt service and comfortable seating. Just found noise reverberated throughout, despite no one with raised voices. Great coffee.

Friendly staff, a cabinet of tasty food and blackboard menu of classics with a twist welcomed us. We don’t usually stop in Wanganui. We’re glad we did. The coffee is good (according to the one who knows). There’s a calm little outdoor space. And of course the food is good. Gluten free and vegan options included. Always a plus.

What a delicious breakfast.Bursting full of flavor. Poached eggs, wilted spinach on potato rosti with pesto roasted mushrooms and a drizzle of house made hollandaise. Simply delicious

This Café is outstanding in my book. It opens it's doors early for brekky, has a great menu, fabulous almond milk chai latte and super staff. Cosy and central. It doesn't get any better than this. Not noisy with rattles of cups and dishes either. Thanks to the staff and don't change a thing unless you can make your customers feel even more comfortable. Really love.

We had mischief cater our event and it was one of the best decisions we made! They went above and beyond with their customer service to ensure the food we served our guests was at the optimal temperature and taste (ie they delivered twice to cater to the schedule of our event) Everything tasted exquisite with my personal favorites catered being the cheese balls and mushroom bagels! 15/10 for customer service!!

The food is amazing! I had the avocado toast, my husband had the bacon eggs bene and OMG just so so good! You can tell there’s lots of love put into the food 💕 probably one of the best meals I’ve had in Whanganui!

The staff are amazing, the food fantastic, and there was a welcoming vibe from the minute you walk in, well done team. And thanks for helping to make our lunch with our elderly mother so enjoyable and hassle free.

Sweet and cozy cafe that offers breakfast and lunch. The eggs Benedict with mushrooms and spinach in a pesto sauce and roasted potatoes was great! The seafood chowder is not he best I've had, too much pepper and not much taste. They have vegetarian and gluten free options.

Awesome staff. I just had cabinet food and a long macchiato. Both were delicious. I came here after walking out of Red Eye. Wish I’d goto Mischief Cafe first. Almost WGTN quality which is to be considered high praise from me 🙏
